black is too hard to keep clean. my car (unfortunately) lives outside for the moment. id be washing the black one every 2nd day. the silver moss keeps relatively clean

No pain no gain, if u choose blk u should know what happen to u later

just give it a meguires detail :thumbsup:
i used to do that:
-microfibre cloth
-gold class wash
-quick detailer
-paint cleaner
-wax
-polish

and that kept my car clean and when i did get water marks/dust all you need you really do is just wash it down and give it a light clean to make it shiny again :D

know that one too well lol. its a lot easier wen u alredy know how to drive.. ur not worrying about the other aspects of the car. means u can concentrate better on the gears for the first few times.

easy to pick up tho. its really worth it, especially if u love ur driving

i just went for a ride on my bike coz i had nothing to do. i passed hornsby honda. "toll" were unloading a few cars. few civics, accords, jazzs.
so congrats to the lucky ones.
lol the "toll" driver was caining the car. down the ramp. then skid the breaks. then a small burn out to take off then park it in the dealership. then off the engine. then next car.
so i guess our cars have been slightly abused~ i know you dont want to hear it. but. too bad:)

suck, but we can't stop such thing happen, just hope our car still in AAA condition when we receive them, but once again, where my baby

After spending a month on a large cargo ship then a car carrier across the desert from perth I think a little abuse from the truck driver at the final destination is the least of your cars worries.

Looks sensational from some angles, a bit crap from some others. Thats my biggest complaint about the car. Some cars look better the more u look at it, I think this Civic gets worse looking as u look at it more. Loved it at first, just ok now.

i bought mine VTI auto silver with NO extras, paid 25500 for it.

I think you'll find that dealers are still not discounting, when there's a 3 month waiting list for a car, why would they?

qicked up mine last tuesday and been driving for serval days, everything is good, but when i was on the freeway driving like 100, there's a bit noisy inside the car (all windows shut properly). what do u guys think?

Tell ur mate to go elsewhere... i payed $20 more than what he got quoted and that was around 6+ months ago when they first came out

Dont get a Civic Sport. Its not good value for $$. Rather just get a Euro and you can bargain more with it.

I think ridiculous Sport cost $10k more than Vti. Its a similar car.

what if you dont want something that uses as much petrol as the euro but still has leather seats, sunroof etc etc and isnt around as much as the euro!

True. its a nice car but I just dont like the price. The sport should at least have the bodykit included as standard to differentiate it from the normal models.

i get 8.5-9.5l/100 depending on driving style n how much i have to go to uni/work in the week. at least 420kms to a fill (i fill as soon as light goes on or, if its close, on tuesdays - cheap days!)

Only 3 fuel consumption numbers in there. From what I can see, an auto Civic Sport consumes the same as a manual Euro.

I'd expect those figures to improve after 6 months or so.

How much does a Euro consume? And was there much difference between the first month and several months later?

I know one reason my workmate choose a Civic sport over a euro was because it was smaller, had everything sunroof etc and the leather seats. Sure its not bargin price, but who ever said honda was ?

Not much difference. I get 10L/100km in the city, 7-7.5L/100km on the freeway and when I cross the harbour tunnel twice a week, it's 9.5L/100km over 2 weeks.

He's talking about the Euro. Which is pretty close to the manufacturer's figures.

My baby arrived, the only problem was the dealer fitted sheepskin seatcovers (bleh) instead of the neoprene seat skins, that's being fixed tomorrow..here are some pictures.

this avo i was priced 4 a sports manual $34000 he'd drop $500 off price but thats all. he also claimed theres about a 2month wait if i wanted another colour... the dealer only had 1 civic on yard :-s so i think he just wanted a sale...

dude, you need to know how to deal with these sales people, in general all they really are after is your money and their commission. It is hard to tell which salesmen are honest, but then again, there is no such thing as an 'honest' salesmen, so you just need to bargain and throw things in for a good price, sounds hard but actually is easy. Most I find are friggen bullsh*t artists so to get something you want, you need to know how to negotiate with them, ask them many questions to see if they know their cars otherwise speak to another saleman or go to another dealership.
Don't fall for their crap and bargain with them the best you can...

have anyone noticed that when u drive the manual, when u take off at the lights. easy throttle. the car shakes a LIL bit. like the clutch is slowly engaging. is this coz of new clutch? or my driving skillz

wen i test drove the vti i didnt feel any shudder, is this the first time your driving manual? either way your car looks good and i cant wait to get mine :D :thumbsup:
