hmm i really need to learn manual :).. i'm so sick of auto hahaha.. when i floor it it hits like 6000rpm but the auto is fkn stupid :) lol..
MT is more fun, u should learn mate
black is too hard to keep clean. my car (unfortunately) lives outside for the moment. id be washing the black one every 2nd day. the silver moss keeps relatively clean
No pain no gain, if u choose blk u should know what happen to u later
just give it a meguires detail
i used to do that:
-microfibre cloth
-gold class wash
-quick detailer
-paint cleaner
-wax
-polish
and that kept my car clean and when i did get water marks/dust all you need you really do is just wash it down and give it a light clean to make it shiny again :D
nice, thx for ur way to wash up
yea.!! get manual! its not hard to learn. jsut learn on someone elses car . like ur sisters or something:) ahaha
i remember first time. trying to do hill starts. omg. i panic and do burn outs:) ahaha
ya,once u know how to drive in manual one, u know how fun it come~
but once u drive manual. padal shift is fun. coz its different
know that one too well lol. its a lot easier wen u alredy know how to drive.. ur not worrying about the other aspects of the car. means u can concentrate better on the gears for the first few times.Quote:

i just went for a ride on my bike coz i had nothing to do. i passed hornsby honda. "toll" were unloading a few cars. few civics, accords, jazzs.
so congrats to the lucky ones.
lol the "toll" driver was caining the car. down the ramp. then skid the breaks. then a small burn out to take off then park it in the dealership. then off the engine. then next car.
so i guess our cars have been slightly abused~ i know you dont want to hear it. but. too bad:)
nah he wasnt being too harsh. just i hear the wheels chirping a lil when he takes off~
suck, but we can't stop such thing happen, just hope our car still in AAA condition when we receive them, but once again, where my baby
After spending a month on a large cargo ship then a car carrier across the desert from perth I think a little abuse from the truck driver at the final destination is the least of your cars worries.Quote:

i had a dream about my vti last night :(
I dont recommend black anymore. I think life gets too busy to be washing a car every week. I havent washed mine for 2 weeks and its nearly turning brown.
ew lol
got call from deaer today, he said i still have to wait untill this oct to get my vti, why~~~ why other state can get car earier than QLD~~~
move to sydney:)
haha, that's not make sense, for me just can waiting...shit
you know the saying. " patience is a virtue."
also "quality takes time"
yea its a good car. You'll like it when it comes
Looks sensational from some angles, a bit crap from some others. Thats my biggest complaint about the car. Some cars look better the more u look at it, I think this Civic gets worse looking as u look at it more. Loved it at first, just ok now.
well, since it is about 3 months after i bought my new civic.
i just want to know has the price changed much?
i bought mine VTI auto silver with NO extras, paid 25500 for it.
how much are u guys paying now?
I think you'll find that dealers are still not discounting, when there's a 3 month waiting list for a car, why would they?Quote:

sad for me, still waitting my civic coming
I cant believe there is 70+ pages on this topic.
I wonder how many people actually owns one right now since the car is always in shortage.
count me on, i am the guy here still on the waitting list, hope can get it next mth
har har... hang in there dyl. only 1 month to go:)
best thing to do is THINK it will coem in 1 month. then when i comes early you be even more happy:)
hoho, this is only thing i can do...
yeah man, i knew u r waiting joy, u should be happy with the waiting time for u is only 2 months, i've been waiting 5 months for mine, my frd even worse, we ordered the same time now he still need to wait till Oct, i think u r one of those lucky ones la
hey just wanted to ask how much is a civic sport auto..? my frd wants to get one......and got quoted 35500 inc tint.mats.premium plates....is that good price or could get lower?
Tell ur mate to go elsewhere... i payed $20 more than what he got quoted and that was around 6+ months ago when they first came outQuote:

I think ridiculous Sport cost $10k more than Vti. Its a similar car.
tru, and but there is option for ppl to choose
i think my frd is determined to get it so rather than wasting time asking him to buy another one i rather find him a good price...Quote:

What's the fuel consumption of a manual Civic Sport?Quote:

i havnt finished my first tank yet:)
i get 8.5-9.5l/100 depending on driving style n how much i have to go to uni/work in the week. at least 420kms to a fill (i fill as soon as light goes on or, if its close, on tuesdays - cheap days!)
Only 3 fuel consumption numbers in there. From what I can see, an auto Civic Sport consumes the same as a manual Euro.Quote:

How much does a Euro consume? And was there much difference between the first month and several months later?
I know one reason my workmate choose a Civic sport over a euro was because it was smaller, had everything sunroof etc and the leather seats. Sure its not bargin price, but who ever said honda was ?
Not much difference. I get 10L/100km in the city, 7-7.5L/100km on the freeway and when I cross the harbour tunnel twice a week, it's 9.5L/100km over 2 weeks.Quote:

this avo i was priced 4 a sports manual $34000 he'd drop $500 off price but thats all. he also claimed theres about a 2month wait if i wanted another colour... the dealer only had 1 civic on yard :-s so i think he just wanted a sale...
does that sound right?
dude, you need to know how to deal with these sales people, in general all they really are after is your money and their commission. It is hard to tell which salesmen are honest, but then again, there is no such thing as an 'honest' salesmen, so you just need to bargain and throw things in for a good price, sounds hard but actually is easy. Most I find are friggen bullsh*t artists so to get something you want, you need to know how to negotiate with them, ask them many questions to see if they know their cars otherwise speak to another saleman or go to another dealership.
Don't fall for their crap and bargain with them the best you can...
hope that helps. :)
