Long story short, my original cheap conversion fgucked it from the start.
now getting it fixed finally and theres more then i expected wrong.
fgucked from the start + more then expected wrong = lots of money that
was not budget for.
A word of advice: Dont cheap out get it done right the first time, will be worth the wait.
now have to cut the losses and do the wise thing for the future. im not out of the game completely though.
my missus has a EG that inturn i will take when we get her a new car, then i will do it right.
1.handling (coils+sways+struts)
2.visuals/looks (JDM+wheels+personal flare)
3.power (anything vtec [b18c7] )

Be warned bikes ruin your motivation to do car modding. It taken me 18 months to fix my brakes and I still need to put a new booster on them, and that all I need to have the car track ready. Its just so hard to get up the motivation to spend my weekend in the garage making the car fast when the bike is sitting there already faster then the car will ever be....
well, the EG for me will always be a toy/project. slowly but surely it will be great. it took me almost 3 years to get my DA to where it was. i had everything. all i needed was coils and i was ready!
oh well, sh!t happens, i must be positive!!! the EG has much more aftermarket potential as well as nearly any other Honda part will fit it somehow?!

Hey im looking at upgrading my Camshafts and Cam Gears on my DA And would like some help with options I have a B18a
i bought recently some bc (crower) cams for my da
there turbo ones though however they make na cams
however the b18b and b20b cams will bolt into the b18a head
i was lookin at specs and looks like the b20b duration is more then a b18a
however i havent looked to much into this it would b interesting if they made much diff
By the time you've mucked about with cams you could have bought a VTEC head.
yeh but the only advantage is vtec and everyone wants to much for vtec heads
The only advantage of big cams is big cams? What's your point?
No point modifying a non-VTEC head when a stock VTEC head will perform better.
