what you guys reckon of running 215/45/15 on 15x6.5s?
215 is max u can go on 6.5 safely.
too much wall flex aye? but nvm found meself another set in 195. lol
If the tyre manufacturer approves the particular tyre for mounting on a rim of that width go for it. Assuming the tyre is appropriately load and speed rated and you have considered the effect the change in tyre diameter will have. You will sacrifice some tyre rigidity due to the bulged out sidewall and hence you will lose some response.
This guy is full of crap don't listen to him :p. There are no set rules like you can only fit X tyre on Y rim width, it all varies from tyre to tyre and manufacturer to manufacturer.
Meh i wouldnt go wider :P
I agree with didz.
215 max for 6.5's. Although i have to say 215/50/15 ftw!!
Charger is right. A lot of tyre manufacturers state u can go wider. I personally wouldnt bother though.

Is there such thing as an Aussie made, decent long lasting tyre that has a good looking tread pattern?
I figure I should use my Rudd money and replace my bald tyres.
I like the Toyo T1R's, but they are wayy to sporty for my EG. So yeah, aussie version of the T1R's with a hard side wall would be nice.
