Man, haven't been on here for ages.
Been giving the bike all the love. But see the FD sitting looking neglected. Interesting to see how many new suppliers of after-market body kits there are now. Disappointed to see the prices of the headlights haven't changed even with the strong aussie dollar.
I see a few familiar faces here. Aero, K., still got the FDs I see.
thinking of getting my HL retrofitted with HID projectors.:angel: just a bit worried to get defected for this. pics of the actual retrofitted OEM HL borrowed from another forum:

farkyeah! finally some good projectors available for the FD.
It's less likely to be a defect than most of us who are running HID's in the stock housings. You'll be fine.
Retrofit is the way to go.. if anyone's daring to try
hids with stock reflectors are freaking blinding on our cars lol, so scary driving past and behind cops......
as i mentioned in another thread, I will be doing this, changing a set of angel eye headlights to have proper HID projectors - The only thing currently stopping me is I need help getting the headlights apart, my oven isn't big enough to fit the headlight.
If there's someone in Sydney who's interested in helping out ... .. :)
you don't need an oven, just get heat gun from bunnings.

and no i didn't intentionally choose this colour, i dislike it - i spent 2.5 yrs driving in FD in this colour..

The FD will be getting neglected unfortonately. The lude's to replace the EG we have for my sister to learn driving in... (we've had it for a year and she still hasn't learned...)
and it will go back to being my parent's car... which means it'll be hardly used.

has anyone here removed the stock resonator intake from their FD?
I've read on this forum some Euros, Accords and Integras removing it to increase engine sound. Some even installing a tube (DIY CAI) and feeding the air to the stock air intake.
it's just that I'm thinking to do it to my car =P
any pro's / con's / feedback would be appreciated ! cheers.

has anyone tried putting a spare 18" wheel in the spare tyre area? Does it fit? Did a quick measure but it looks tight.
I'd recommend taking the hose out at the airbox like this: (if you haev the R18 engine). This way you can experiment around a bit - make sure you experience driving in heat first before yuo go remove the whole assembly.

obtw, t he intake arm goes down under the batery to the resonator, and then the actual intake is just next to the battery - if you're handy, you could saw off the resonator and have a makeshift cold air intake...

yeh thats pretty tight specs man but gna look pretty good, i doubt he'll get concavity with the cr kais
i just got wheel alignment done and im running -2 degree camber on the rears and -0.6 on the fronts n thats with no camber adjust
