No mine aren't semi slick .. when i googled them to find you a pic they all showed as semi-slick which is weird. here's the pic

Yep sounds like they're KU31's, KU36's are semi-slicks and you'd notice straight away just from looking at the tread pattern.

Seem pretty cheap and reviews are not that bad.

I use the 595EVO daily in a 205/45/16 on my EG and I love them. Heaps of grip and extremely predictable when they do break traction. I've had my set for over 12months now and the front's are about at the wear indicators.

Thinking about sacrificing wet some wet grip and going for the 595RS-R next. But I only just saw the 595RPM just then and they didn't exist when I got mine so I'll do a bit more research first.

If you are after a sticky street tyre then there is: Hankook RS2, Hankook RS3 and Toyo R1R. The R1R is a very sticky tyre and certainly outgrips the RS2 but I haven't read any good reviews compparing it with the RS3 yet. For competition tyres in that size I know of Hoosier R6, Nitto NT01 and Hoosier A6.Quote:

FWIW, I currently have a pair of BFGoodrich g-Force Sport on the front (also sporting a dual ply sidewall, and a stiff bead filler according to BFG), and I've found them to be a very good tyre, but alas they have very little tread left as they approach only 15,000km (not quite illegal yet).
