how much is it to imported a FD2R for track use only?
no offence OP, but ur car looks very basic in comparison to what others have done in the forum

bahHH!!!!
LOL!
yeah i agree with tim.. no offence but the mods arent anything special most the ppl here have cars looking much cleaner or to say the very least have similar mods..not saying ur mods are nothing...
but i dont believe how overrated this post was, how could u have a thread to urself? so selfish lol..
and when i heard the engine conversion was gonna be 'flappy paddle' first instinct OH NO
"once the whole conversion is complete the only driving this car is going to be doing is 1am on the highway to have fun"
wow all that effort and trouble to get the ur 'perfect project car' and to find that the only time/place ur gonna be pushing it is on the highway at 1am...
not the safest and best place to do personal racing.
epicfail.
lol, of course they arent the greatest photos. and it obviously looks like nothing atm because all it has done is the audio and abit of paint :p. there are still many many things to do and many many things that may or may not be happening. this is a personal project, but it is something i needed quite abit of help with to begin with, hence posting. you are all right, this car will probably have some illegal modifications eventually. and the only time it will ever get to gallop is on the track. But i dont really see this as stupid, I see it as a project and nothing else. Transmission is as yet undecided depending on what i can get and from where. I have just been told that a fd2r halfcut is coming into australia, so it may be a proper 'conversion' and become fully manual.
My family has a cobra that we keep in a garage 364 days a year mostly and only gets seen at shows. This car I wanted to be my 'show' just do things my way and have it look how I want, but the reason I called on everyone here was to make sure the way in which i go about things was correct. This car is a Honda, and i wanted the end product to impress Honda owners. if you have advice, tell me. if you have critique, tell me. if you just plain don't like it, tell me. everyone here can influence the end result. but only I can actually put something into action, and i need all of your help to make sure that the actions that i make keep the Honda spirit first and foremost.
