yeh that sounds pretty reasonable i guess. Its just frustrating to see that there are cars so much lower out there that hAVENT been pulled over as of yet =/

ive seen some dc5's with their number plate on the front of the front bumper and some in the small gap just above the bottom of the front bumper. which of those 2 are the oem position for the number plate?
lol how low can you actually go in qld/nsw, 10cm??
Where do they measure this?
Mudflaps?
whatever point is the lowest, yes mudflaps do count, unless they are like the big rigs which are designed to flap and deter rocks from behind traffic
On 180sx's cops go for the exhaust at the rear near the diff as if it's lowered its going to be 90-70mm off the ground
If I lowered mine my cat would be the lowest if the front deflection plate was removed, lol
Fark my mudflaps are like 2 inches of the ground **** that
Scrutineers at race events (NSW State Cahmpionships) use a device which is basically a metal ring 100mm in height attached to a long handle. They poke it under your car and if it 'tings' anywhere then you are deemed to be too low. Maybe the HP need one of these as the idea of being pinged arbitrarily (as mentioned above) really sucks!

thats what they do mate, they get that device and smash it into your front lip and when it hits, they say it's too low, heres a defect.
you ever driven from syd to canberra before summernats? you'll know what I mean if you have, about 100 defected cars and coppers using that thing.
mudflaps dont count
