that is probably just for swapping a stock k20 from an fn2r into ur fd. it will probably cost a bit more for a fully built motor. it may be cheaper if u try to source a k24 instead from a crashed euro or sumthing.

LOl why does the eng have to come from a fn, why not another eng in the k series, from like a dc5r or ep3r, or must the swap keep the maf sensor?
in order to register the engine, the engine cannot be older than the chassis, hence a cu2 or fn2r engine is required which makes the build expensive
I had the car for two years now and bought it brand new since then i modified the following:
- mugen full kit bodykits
-carbon fiber type r spoiler
-3M di-noc carbon fiber sticker ( full rear boot )
-lenso 18x8.5 +35 offset with federal 225-40-18 tyres
-HID lights
- and few more minor modifications
Next project - skunk2 pro-c coilovers and 215/40/18 federal tyres

guys my fd2 sits roughly an inch lower on the passenger side...i noticed it as i was walking towards the car in a shopping mall. it was the same when i parked it at home. any ideas?
lower on driver side? I think it's the additional weight of the steering column, although 1 inch is a fkload. I've got a difference of 1 finger for the wheel gaps

my passenger side had normally been lower... but i took it to mechanic when i had my engine mounts replaced and they evened up my height... i still wanna go lower at the front tho, so i'll probably end up throwing it all out of whack again lol
nicee.. btw ekdez when you got ur js racing catback, it was for an fd2r right? what modifications did you need to make to fit ur fd1? and any idea what id need to do to make it fit the fd2?

YEah it's an fd2r 60rs titanium :)
The mods was just a short 15-20 cm pipe made from the samematerial with two flanges on each side so it just bolts on in between :)
Cos me 500 or so cos it's expensive material, and u need a different gas and training to weld titanium.. But it all bolts together perfectly. Hasn't fallen off since.
P.s I dunno where the fd2 headers star it finish.. So u couldnt advise u on that.
Unless u have a Jdm k20a with j's headers then you'll be laughin :p

Yeh I got the normal Mugen wing Coz I saw another Fd driving with Mugen kit and RR wing. The wing is huge and looks horrible in real life!! In photos looks alright.and the fender flares look kinda weird IMO don't want little bumps sticking out near my wheels =] all they do us weigh the car down more!!Quote:
