Hey guys.
New problem,
suspension related this time, just got a set of brand new hsd tt, fitted so the tyres are tucking under the guard about half an inch, yes it's on it guts but that's how I like em, problem is it appears that the upper control arms on the from knock on the body over anything really, that's on the hardest setting (pretty soft still). I've seen lower da's n dc's before, how do they do it?? camber arms or something?? I have no idea where to go from here except back up, I don't want to, I'm scared of heights!!
Lol
thanks for the compliment Freek, means alot comming from you :)
cheers Will,
in the US they sell forged knuckles which are shorter and it'll correct the problem..however they are expensive and will end up quite costly with labor as u'll have to machine pump the barring outta the stock kunckle and push it back into the new one, not include the 30 or so screws u'll have to undo + drive shaft to take the hub out first.
changing the uper control arm won't help as most camber adjustable control arms are thicker than stock if not they'll be at least the same in dimension.
best solution is to raise it.
Ahhhh crap!
Not what I wanted to hear at all.
Fitting isn't usually a problem, so if I do this forged knuckle "procedure" um which ones are the good ones to get and from who?
And by knuckle do you mean ball joint??
