from the RRP (in NSW) the lux navi auto is only 10-11k more than the standard auto. If you compare to the MY08, then it wont be fair... :)
EDIT: from RRP in NSW, Standard auto to Lux Auto diff: $9k-ish. Lux Auto to Lux Navi auto diff is $2k-ish

I reckon is a pretty good deal for Lux Navi for 48500 with some accessories included.
Given Lux Navi is 3000 dearer than Lux, comparatively 45500 is a really great deal for MY10 Lux Auto.
As mentioned by denot, go for it if it is a MY10 model. If you are looking for a sportier appearance, jimlee008 advice is great, go for the Modulo Kit, or upgrade yourself with Mugen kit.
All the best.
Paint Protection is a scum. I got my Tint done by Tint-a-car cost $350 using mid-night express.. they get the whole rear window done as well.
If it is black, make sure u tell them not to polish it. The car dealer use the same cloth for all their car, it leave swril marks... :-(
Buy a clean microfirbe chamois to wash and clean your Car. That would look magnificant :D
Thanks for the handy advice all...
Deal's done... Picking up the car next Tuesday or Wednesday. :)
I think we'll look at aftermarket tint and protection providers as the dealer's costs are quite high in comparison.
Cheers!
wot? isnt the navi meant to be only $2k more than the luxi auto.
i only paid $43k for my luxi auto and i got tint, metallic paint, mats and spoiler. plus 5 year warranty and roadside assist. driveaway, rego etc.
so seeing as how the only difference should be like the navigation plus the bluetooth, which should be at most $3k more, why is he paying $48k... or am i missing something here. does it make that much of a difference 09/10 plate?
i paid $1k more than my friend cause of the economy at the time, but even if i got it for $42k id still feel cheated and wish asked for full body kit. Their margin is ridiculously high.
U shudve gone to another dealership and see if they can beat it lol.
Just FYI
My dealer quoted me $38500 MY10 base AUTO driveaway. (with extended warranty + 5 yrs roadside assistant, tinting, floor mat, full tank fuel, rear sensor, metallic)
Assuming fancy paint, that's $3,315 less than the recommended selling price ($41,815) in Sydney which doesn't include the extras you quoted above. The dealer cost price is $28,323.75 so their margin is a good $10,000. But they have to pay their fixed costs out of this (rent, interest, power, water, wages, commissions, political bribes, violins playing in background, etc).
Dude, there is not a $10,000 margin in the car.
^^ Margin is not the same as profit. There is not $10K profit.
Didn't say profit, I said margin.
