All in all, RRP drive away was a fraction over $26000 without the extra's normally. the spoiler is about $700-750 and the wheels were $1300 if you pay full price.
Good price to got ur VTI auto~When will u get it?
alre4ady have it. It was delivered in early JulyQuote:

what is the best quote ppl are getting now...because compliance my06 have all sold out and the dealer was telling me my07 prices are up
if you seeking for new civic atm, i recon u get 07, but if price up, then u should better find more dealer to compare the price
the best price they offered me for the vti auto is 25,950 with mats only and its the 07 models. Since the prices are up 500 you think its worth it?
if u want make feel better, i think u should ask for more useful accessories of the car, and make them give u discount for that, i think it will drop down the price a bit, just a option, u can think about it
anyone know where to get the mugen exhaust kit from?
u can order from ozhonda trader JDM concept, price at about 1k. i am thinking to get one later
Have anyone who placed their orders during mid Aug gotten a call from their dealers yet?
I thought any order made by Aug will come next mth. These period is for ordered by July.

sad to heard that, seems ur dealer just kidding u, maybe u can call the dealer's hotline not someone's mobile, i think they will pick up the phone due to they suppose get new customer, then track down ur car~hope that's help a bit
You can always complain to the sales manager at the Honda Dealer you have bought from. The sales managers tend to be quite interested in how their underlings are doing and may take action if you mention how rude your dealer has been. Unfortunately, that's not uncommon for salesman to keep to their stereotypical reputation.
You can cancel your contract 3 months after you sign it if delivery has not occurred. I suggest you do it if you're unhappy and don't like the civic 'that' much. Your salesman also loses out on his bonus :P
Some dealership will give discount on the civic .but the tricky part is .they might say Oct deivery but in fact its Dec or even more..so dont fall into the trap....( I'm working in the industry so I know well enough)
**EDIT YFIN - DELETED COMMERCIAL SALES CONTENT PM SENT - PLEASE DON'T USE THIS FORUM TO SELL SPECIFIC CARS AT YOUR DEALERSHIP - THANKS! ***
For those who have the civic now...ENJOY DRIVING AND FOR THOSE WHO WAITING FOR IT...BE PATIENT~
Got my vti blk man just now, happy with that, worth to wait for 3 mths

Anyone hear about the Civic recall? Only affects Hybrid and Sport models. Something to do with the ECU screwing with the electric steering.
Haven't heard it yet but then I don't own either model.Quote:

hi everyone,
i'm hunting a for my first Honda and i'm hoping to put a deposit on it on Saturday. I got a quote for $27 800 for the Civic VTi Auto. The quote includes the Euro 16" alloy wheels, car mats plus in the Misty Violet. Does that deal sound good?
Edit: plus it's coming in december!
sounds about right...but im pretty sure you could get it for less...doesn't sound like you got much of a discount...try to bring them down a bit more!!Quote:

So the 16inch euro wheels will fit the 06 civic? can u please confirmed that?
cheers

thanks for all the info and advice, i really appreciate it :)
i thought that the VTi comes with standard alarm system? but i'll double check that.. i'll also make sure that the euro 16" wheels will fit!
i've gone to all 3 dealers in local Perth and the prices they gave me were around the $27.5k mark.

I must say u did a well job in getting that price....i wasnt too lucky because i had a trade in in the clause! stil l got it for 27500 with spoilers, mats and car alarm system.
i got mine a week ago, vti-l auto $30,500 with mats, parking sensor and windows tint.. not sure whether this is a good price or not
put a deposit a month ago.. i guess 1 month waiting is not bad at all :)
I'll have a look at the contract and I'll post the figures.Quote:

I just put a deposit on the '07 Civic VTi in Misty Violet. I didn't manage to get the price down from $27 800, but i did get the mud flaps on top of the car mats and 16" euro alloy wheels like mentioned before.... i now have to wait until January to get it. So happy to join the Honda familY :)
what's the difference between the 06 and the 07 civics?? you know that honda have upped the prices on their cars?? by quite a bit as well!! my friend wants to buy a jazz...and it's 2k more than what it says on the site!! oh well...im happy i got my car before it went up! :)Quote:

What should I be after for a VTi or VTi-L auto with Tint and extended warranty?
I will after VTI, coz not interest for extra feature of VTIL, but depend urself, mate
VTi-L features aren't really that great unless you really want the climate control and cd stacker. It works against you because if you wanted to change rims, it becomes a harder argument of "do i change my honda alloys?"..
... and then comes the regret later on of "shit i should've spent $5k more to get the better engine, leather, sunroof, etc.. which has far better resale value."
Tru, mate, but i don't think spt model can get better value than VTI-L does. u can check the carsales.com, spt model is the most frequency resell new civic there, and price normally drop down so much
Mainly was after VTi-L for the alloys, which are $1300 on their own I heard. Whats the price I should be looking at for a VTi Auto? Offered $26500 on road by my local dealer with tint and extended warranty.
a bit exp by this price, i think under $26000 shoule be more reseaonable
I think should be able to get for less than that.Quote:

Take off the $500 accessories and $4k premium for VTi-L, and you're already looking at $25500.
Back in August I've got my VTi auto with 15" alloys, w tinted, tip finishers, full tank, mats, and slim plates for $26200.Quote:

i got qouted $900 for 15 inch alloys, 450 for window tints and 450 for cat4 car alarm.... and mats were the only thing freeQuote:

Civic prices are up $500 across the entire range. They might not be updated on the site yet but when I got the mail out the prices were higher.Quote:

Tru, this a problem. Like as me, sold my echo at Aug and have to wait 2 mths for civic arrival, but hopefully i got my frd cheap car to drive during this time. but private selling can get better price for sure.
imo its better to trade it ur car then to sell it privately. u can get some good deals if you do and besides as you said theres no gurantee about private sellers.
also selling a car privately is not a fun thing to do. there are so many idiots out there that give u ridicilous offers or simply waste your time.
