I know I can install them in my backyard with my mate, but in terms of adjusting them etc - would i be better just getting a shop to do it? and then they can set them and wheel align etc.
I've never adjsuted the setting on coilovers before.
got the tools to do it? ever done it before? i seem to remember people having troubles with knuckles or something popping out etc..
paying a shop $200 to install and lower is great piece of mind :thumbsup:

Most people claim about 20-30kw gains with cams on the k20a3 engine. The same cams will Fit my engine so hopefully works out =]. Should I get the recommended valve springs and retainers though?

I've got lowering sprigns in at the moment, Didnt have a problem with the driveshafts before, i just rested the front discs on a spare axle stand to stop them from drooping too low and popping out.Quote:

lol why would you need to take your coils off? just wind them up? .. fit stock muffler etc to pass test then chuck it all back on :)

It completely transforms the way the car handle corners, recommended mods..!! :)
It doesn't change the ride at all, but when I go around corners or changing lanes at highway speed I can feel that the car is more flat, very minimal body roll..

^Common in the US. Also in the rear, where the endlink connects to the bracket are known to bend/snap - Guys in the US have made metal plates to reinforce this area. Easy to DIY.Quote:

If those are authentic fd2r rims, they will have a +50 offset.. Careful with the offsets.

Yeah I was gonna say +60 but +50 is enough to scare you.. The reason the offset is high is because of the bbk set up they run. Need to sink the wheels in as much as possible.
