great point - I had some chinese fake weather strips for the gf's jazz , they lasted about a few months before one side came off at speed - bad quality double sided tape. We changed to OEM honda ones , and forever do they stay on.

My weatherstripping seems to be lifting in certain spots too. Manual says they're held in place by clips though so not sure how getting new ones will help?

doesnt jdmconcept have oem parts, best to email leo first and have the part number aswell.
ive searched through some sites that had part numbers maybe do a search on this thread or syd ep3 thread because i remember posting up that site. under like rubber seal or something
Is this what you're looking for? parts 9, 10 and 11?
MOLDING/SIDE SILL GARNISH
9. MOLDING ASSY., R. ROOF: part number: 74306-S5S-E01
11. MOLDING ASSY., L. ROOF: part number: 74316-S5S-E01
10. BRACKET, ROOF MOLDING: part number: 74308-ST0-003
Mine are lifting too, but at $103 a side!!! I doubt i'll replace them, I was just thinking of putting some silicone/sikaflex under there...
Yeah, pricey but at least I know they'l be a perfect fit and won't come off after a few months (like what ben said earlier)
Yeah, mine are fine, but for most cars which are parked externally, it is a common problem to buckle or fade (or both). Im looking to get new window strips, the one that runs along the top of the doors.
So i just picked up my right hand side one from honda - $72...turns out they quoted much higher than what it really was
Roof. Hunter honda dealership.
I can't tell you what the part numbers were exactly, but they look similar / familiar so I'm going to say yes.
I've got the invoice in the car, I'll take a look after work
Part number is the same as the one above - seems like they ordered in a left hand side one for me though - doesnt seem to matter coz it fits?
guys i need help/advice. had my steering rack greased today but the mech forgot to replug the electric ps plugs and turned the car on, eps light stayed on and so replugged the clips however the eps light wouldnt go away after another start up. pulled out the diagnostics tools but wasnt anyhelp after continuous code clearing... reseted the car still wouldnt fix the problem. my gruppe m aluminium heat shield was scrubbing against a few cables and started to rub into afew of them after removing everything. not sure whats left to do to fix the eps...can barely drive the car without power steering... George? Ben?
I would just disconnect the battery for a few minutes and give it another go. Obviously double check all connections and make sure its not something simple, like plus wrong way round etc...
I'd say the ecu probably picked up the initial 'no eps' as it was disconnected!
Thanks George i'll try resetting the battery again, see how it goes. As for the burnt plastic behind my gruppe m's heat shield could that be a possibility? since the whole wiring bundle was scrubbing against the heat shield and i could see residue left behind.
Spotted perry next to the uts library like 10 mins ago.
Do I need to unplug the red terminal too? or would negative be sufficient?
Negative is fine!
no good =/ left it dc for 5mins, could hear a sound like a faint beep noise when i turn the wheel left and right without my keys in the ignition and not the tyre rubbing the ground.
No good George :( taking it back to mechanics tmr, might give good performance and hannys a call and see what they can do about it too. car drives worse than a k24 swap eg without p/s...
I was just thinking! When you turn the ignition on, does the EPS light show like previously? Have you checked the fuse for the eps?
Hahahhahah
problem fixed! got my eps back :D no more fighting heavy torque steer. the civic si manual pdf came in useful had instructions to reset the eps ecu by grounding cable and diagnostics reader.e
should leave eps off for more street cred like the NSX-R (no p/s) LOL
too much street cred over the weekend, think i need less of it.
My gf's Suzuki Swift has no power steering. Trying to park that thing is a massive workout. No need for gym membership, just take power-steering out of your car.
i was surprised to actually park without it but was crooked, its just a mission to drive without power steering.
EPS isnt constant like hydraulic power steering - some may notice torque steer at times and sometimes over powering on the steering !
is it just our cars with the eps? or does the dc5 have it too?
Just EP3
DC5R does not use EPS. FD Sport/FN2R use EPS so see if any similar problems existed with those cars.

Hey guys, just a quick question about the Mugen grille. Do you paint the piece where the Mugen badge sits black to hide it?

Do anyone have a buddy club spec 3 on their car? How does it compare to fujitsubo in terms of loudness and droning?
bc 3 is way too loud man, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ea6xpwciZEU
BC 3 wasn't on that video. So dno how it compares, but from what i heard its bloody loud.

Hi all
Have any of you replaced the stub axles on your EP3. Do you know if they share the same OEM part number as the integra or other civic models?
Thanks to another member I've been looking on here:
part 1
Would I be right in assuming the stub axle is part of that?
Forgive my complete lack of intelligence when it comes to my own car.
deeply buried away in the photo/images Sub forum. Felix teach me to take better photos on the 26th?

Nope...after this I did a bit more research and realised that what I posted was only the two halves of the drive shaft, before the wheel hub. Unfortunately I don't think any of the diagrams on that site have what I'm looking for, so I'll see if I can find something through a wrecker or dealer.
If I can find a cheap one through a dealer at least I can see if it's compatible.
Managed to get some info out of a Honda Dealer in the UK. He pointed me in the direction of the rear knuckle/hub assembly which looks like it contains the part I'll need.
Will have to try and contact Honda to see if there's a model over here that uses the same part..fingers crossed for the dc5 integra or the EU civic.
Hey guys my car landed today from Japland.
Went to the docks to have a look and noticed that there is no key less entry remote control.
Does anyone know where I can get an original. Honda has not been the most helpful.
Just another CW EP3 dont worry they all look alike haha.
Never mind lady in Japan forgot to send it -_-
