I've always used Shell 98 V Power as well, and will only use Shell. Never had any problems at all. One thing which didn't work was when I tried E10 a while back lol... I don't know just didn't seem to have the same bite IMO, car felt very sluggish - probably not designed for the engine I guess...?
But every 4 fills I mix in a bottle of Nulon octane booster with the V Power... just to give that extra bit of boost :D

E10 is good in later model cars because they're specced up to run on that shit... and i've harmed the main parts of an engine with it, but needless to say that the fuel injectors in my old Opel Vectra didn't like it, to the point where I had to get the injectors sonic cleaned after only using it once... and not even a full tank...Quote:
