want to buy - 12" exhaust
... what
Lol Never noticed. I'll look at my brothers girlfriends FD1 next time.
Can i just get window tint and put it on the headlight?
I did that to my rear lights. Looks mad. People say you shouldnt because
the heat of the lights makes the plastic expand and if i have tint it wont expand and can crack.
I've had the tinted tail lights for little over 1 year and no cracks...
Try and find out the heat specifications for the tint, then get a thermal temperature gun (or anything temperature measuring equipment) and measure the heat on the headlights after having them on for say 15 - 20 minutes to get the right idea of what the operating temperature will be to compare to the tint.
Keep in mind that tint is on cars that sit out in the sun almost all day without any issues which can hit some excruciating temperatures, but the only difference will be is that the tint will be on the outside of your headlights.
Thats what I was thinking. My tail lights are still one piece. No dramas.
I only tinted the brake lights. Was gunna do the whole thing but Didnt like the chrome parts
being tinted

I retrofitted HID projectors into my headlights a few months ago. When I was putting the headlight housing back together, I noticed the original sealant didn't seem adequate enough. So I purchased some new sealant and applied a thin lining across the whole edge, just to be 100% sure there are no gaps. So far so good, no water going in. =] I should have painted the chrome bits black like the picture, but I cbb. ahaha
and Jprak is right, I didn't notice it either, but the facelift FD I got, has a slight brown tint to the headlight (my mechanic was like, did you smoke your headlights too?)
AND
for rear lights, my mate's FD, he just sprayed "nightshade" over his rear lights. It's hella black, but surprisingly the red brake lights still are very visible. Some rule requirement about be able to see the rear lights from about 200m away, and he has no troubles from the police just yet.
