Also go the front lower control arm bushings installed at the same time.
One of the apprentices there was changing my wiper blades, got home an hour later from clayton to northern suburbs only to realise my left windscreen wiper blade is missing.
Now I need a new alignment. I am getting some scrub when I turn left none on the right assume its due to camber etc being all out of wack.
Anyone know where I can get one for cheap? I'm assuming I will be making another 65km round trip to Clayton again to pick up my wiper blade....

For wheel alignments, if you want cheap ones. Try Jax Quickfit in Caulfield, from memory it is $44 or $48 for a full alignment. Tell them you're a member of nissansilvia.com for that price or tell them Michael referred you. Just don't let them touch your brake fluids :p
Yeah I ended up going to aj. The price was good considering that I got quoted that price elsewhere just for the tie rods and I got alot of stuff done with him yesterday.Quote:

Does the steering bracket and tie rod ends really improve the handling or geometry? I'm dropped a little less than a finger gap up front, similar to your height, and been using stock bracket and tie rod for ages. I keep coming back to wondering if I really need it...
I dont know about handling but I would say that it does improve geometry as it brings the tie rods higher and reduces the v angle you get from lowering it. So by having the angle close to stock it will reduce bump steer so it would play a role in handling.Quote:
