New to the forum. Just managed to pick up an EP3 in an auction in Japan. Really excited but it's going to be hard waiting...
I keep seeing white EP3's in North Ryde/Epping/Eastwood area.
One with a massive GT wing as well.
ew. time to sell up. lol
Did same thing, got mine in jap auctions, but my wait is almost over, it's getting compliance done at the moment hehe
heaps of ep3's around sydney now. Ive seen quiet a few lately
In perth there is only one so far, I'll be second one hehe

looks fantastic for the price although 1st thing id be doing would be standard recaros back in and a change of wheels. if only it was white id be selling kidneys! ...and evos!

hey guys. Anyone recommend what cleaner to use on my floor matts ?? ive got grease on them now from work and im 2 scared to what product to use because im worried it might fade the red and turn it to pink LOL anyone used any cleaners that havent faded there floor matts ??

i can find some used one so used ones around $2500 ... from JAPAN...
clean you carpet with WD40 it cleans everything out of carpet from grease/ gum unidentified stuff spray it on the spot wash out with worm soapy water. good luck.

I am very keen in importing an EP3 2001 or 2001. I have just been browsing through the forums and have discovered that I should start modding the CAI first yes? I am up to page 33 of this thread and will continue to read tomorrow haha. sorry if I repeat anything
Hopefully I will have mine in 2-3 months, just been looking at some jap auctions for the past week. I have mainly looked on yahoo japan I don't know of many other japanese auction sites, could you guys point me in the right direction for my EP3? Anybody see some for sale in japan? I am all sweet with importing and everything, have a Japanese friend and have imported other cars before. Im looking at getting the GruppeM intake as it looks great and heard some awesome reviews about it. And by the looks of it is the best bang for back. Also might add some defi gauges to the wish list. lol then later one a cat-back fuji rm-01a or whatever lol
Well just wanted to say hi, and that i love the EP3 and these forums, hopefully I will be able to report back with some great news in a few months if you guys could just help me out in my journey for some vtec goodness (anybody got anything for sale that can help me with my ep3?)

It is just another auction site amongst several in Japan - just click on the link. I believe this is the only site (besides Yahoo) that lets you view what is on offer). You will then need someone to help you inspect and bid on a car you like. When you said you have a Japanese friend, is he in Japan? Otherwise you may need a broker to help you. This is what I did recently and I bought myself an EP3 last week!

oh well my dad can organise all that he imports evo's etc etc lol so I just have to find one cheap enough and decent to convince him to let me import an EP3
but I'm just looking at getting an EP3 because I am on my P plates and I'm loving the power I hear from the NA engine and I just love the cars and want one RIGHT now lol
Anyone here has any experience with Japanese radio converters or expanders in their EP3's? I would like to keep the radio in my EP3 as it appears to be a pretty nice unit.

dammm YEN why couldn't I have been interested in an EP3 a few months ago...:(
i put in an fm expander in my ep3 as it already came with an alpine unit from Japan. connect it in line into the aerial cable to the HU and just splice it into a power source. call a few local audio shops, i managed to get mine for free as the guy said he had heaps lying around.Quote:

Mine is still in transit and im so lookin forward to slammin through those crisp changing gears with the howl of vtec in my ear on my way to 9000 rpm and of course - the legal speed limit ;)

hey guys.. i need some advice on my ep3,
i just wanna ask about shifting from 1st to 2nd gear problem.what ive done so far to the car is bleed any air on the clutch, put mtf honda oil gear box slightly thin and finally have change the mounts to avid racing ones.but the problem still accurs when i redline the 1st gear to 2nd, it sometimes struggles to go in.I know the car drive beautiful under normal driving, any other gear goes in just fine.Is the any other symptom that i dunno of that you may know?.

Shinobi, maybe you can try changing to a heavier gear knob first. they should shift much better.
talked to my mechanic .. gonna try changing the clutch first, bought an ogura single plate clutch kit to be installed on monday..will let yous know then.If all fails..ill try your method phillip.:thumbsup:
I'm looking at getting some defi gauges (oil temp, oil pressure, and water temp) for my EP3
does anybody have some installed or pics of some? Since I dont have the car yet does everything light up red at night in the interior of the EP3?
