sounds like your alternator is not working properly that could cause the lights to dim out...
at one point i was driving my car non of my lights work and even wipers werent working window won't close...i was driving in the rain to my mechanic to get it fixed...it was dreadful...
but not sure about the fan issue...

What can you do to a stock DA9 that will help it gain a bit more power or torque without turbo or supercharger? :)

look a few post up...and you'll find the word CAMS
but before that intake...exhaust...tbh that does jack...lol
you can think about ecu
but if you want to keep it stock..don't bother...
Its annoying..but if you read from Page1, you'll find some useful info.

I dont wanna keep it stock....I just can't have a turbo as I am on my p-plates. The car just needs a bit more go and i will be a very happy man....but i will scour this thread for info....thanks :)

or, as many have done, engine conversion to Vtec and you'll have plenty more power.

def, intake and exhaust(including extractors)
ull get a nice sound and you shud notice a power diff
ppl say engine swap, but i like our engines(b18a),
ive worked my engine, and id give a vtec run for its money

the fan not working on 1 and 2 means the little resistors in your blower motor have flown away. you can just find the springs and put them back in place, or replace the whole blower resistor, costs $30 from honda.

I been seeing this bright yellow da looks quite stock n very clean around AUBURN (west sydney)?? fkn looks nice lol.

thanks guys, yeah i was talking to some of the guys at work today about the lights, they reckon the alternator. and cheers ash, i'll replace the blower motor then. luckily i have another da9 as a spare parts car i can rip these bits out of. ;)

Hey guys couple of q's. Done my b20 conversion runs smooth as after i got new cv's still have the comp light on dunno what that is yet. But bigger prob is i have what feels like backlash in my gb in the diff just when i go to take off it doesnt move for like .2 of a second and a bit of a bang. Then drive its got me ****ed im thinking of just geting a new gearbox and a hd clutch while im at it. I have a mate that builds gearbox's so im getin 1-2-3 straight cut. Only other thing it can be is i am using the b20 clutch. Any light u guys could shed would be grate. Oh and has any one pulled a gearbox out with out taking engine out ?
