I bought a brand new 06 civic sport for $32 400 (manual) driveaway in sydney with some extras mats, scuff plates and i paid an additional $1200 for paint and interior lifetime protection. This was without trade in. It is hard to come across specials for the civic because there is a back log of orders on them, i was lucky that someones finance didn't get approved and i got mine in october rather than having to wait till march 07. They can do specials on all other hondas except the civic

na, brand new, my dealer said they always keep a few civics in Laveton (spelling?) thats where all cars in Victoria lands. That's how they beat all the other honda dealers around my area.. theres like emm.. 3 honda dealer within 15 mins driving. how many km's are you guys getting out of a full tank of fuel? coz i only get about...450ish...but that's city driving...just wanna make sure it's right
mine is around 450km as well, but in my case it combine with some HW km. for current tank, get 395km with 6 bar fuel left....
still havnt test my KMS yet. only done 2200kms. n only fill half tank all the time. hope i get 500kms
hehe, i think it will run the fuel stablely after it done over 4k... then it can tell the true, but so far, i am a bit sad to see the high comsumption fuel level atm, i think it is hard to get 6.9L/100km, may 8L/100km should be more reasonable.
damn....no good if it's too high!! :(
i noticed with our last one fuel economy got alot better after the 3-4K km mark.................
so my car still have long way to go~just reach 1.5k atm

My Vti-l delivered over 4 days(ordered last sat, got it last wed with 25km done), and my dealer said they have another brand new silver Vti-L (not in show room but can be obtained in 3-5 days) one for me to choose, and they also have 2 Vti in the show room.Quote:

Yea black is by far the best colour for this Civic. ABout half of the new civics Ive seen are black. 2nd most popular seems to be the bluish Silver.

no the liner that goes under the lid of the boot, the one that the hybrid has atm! when the civic came out the only one with the boot liner was the hybrid, all the dealers thought this was very poor so now they have fixed it for the 07 model! looks much better!~

UNSL1: I know that you work in a Honda dealership and im sorry if i offended you, wasn't meant that way. And no, i honestly don't think 1 year is too short for a facelift. I bought a Honda city back in malaysia last year (we dont have that here) and after a year and a bit, there was a complete change in front and rear look, lights, rims etc etc.
I'm sorry if any thinks my comment was asking for too much but its just my opinion.
Afterall I still AM getting the civic. I guess i'll jsut have to wait a day to really find out if there are any other differences besides the bootlip

imho, if u r going to spend on rims, just buy aftermarket ones.. get that 'unique' look, pointless spending the same $ to make the car look just like any other one.
I agree... at that price might as well get AM.
Btw the manual says that fitting AM rims can put unnecessary stress on suspension/components. Anyone here got any thoughts? Is this true or just a liability line to save Honda's ass should something go wrong? Or is it just Honda's way of hinting you should buy OEM?

Ho snap! just happend to be looking at some vids on youtube and came across a EP3 civic R vid. This model as everyone knows never came out in aust. GUESS WHAT! the mags off the 07 sport are exactly the same, only their obviously not in white - their in a dark metalic colour. See how bored I am.........hahhahaha.
