Yeah im also interested in who did your exhaust. Was it a home job? Im considering hiring a mig welder for a week while im on holidays and practicing for 3-5 hours each day and maby trying my hand at doing my own exhaust/downpipe etc. I can get 3" stainless steel tubing for basically nothing, and can order all the necisary flanges, resonators, cats, o2 bungs, hangers and some 3" donuts to chop up and use for the bends etc.
under axle would of got smashed off in a day, cars already low enough, over ftw.
my brother did the exhuast, he has done a fair few now so he is getting prett good, welding isnt half bad to... and o2 sensor.... whats that :D haha nuah jk when the hondata is tuned right it wont need an o2 sensor so it isnt plugged in (i also dont have the right 02 sensor for the wiring harness)
well i had abit of an accident on saturday so fixing the damage for that and finishing off the little things on the engine is very stress ful atm, im rushed for time (might have to throw a sicky tommorow!).
basictly the thread on my lower ball joint is rooted and the bolt came off calapsing my front drivers side tyre at around 100km. damage includes:
****ed cv
tie rod end rooted
lower ball joint rooted
panel with slight dints (when tyre calapsed)
i have got all the parts to fix it now and should be fixed tonight, the car will now be getting some new front end panels (as the other to werent that great anyway) and the whole car will be recieving a respray once my financial situation is good again. for now i will just beat the small dints out as best i can.
also recieved the intake manifold gasket (thanks jdmyard) so i will replace this tonight.
car WILL be tuned by the end of the week (dave gets up here tommorow)
cant wait for this to all be over :)
Damn man how come the thread was rooted???
i dont no, but yeah had a look after i got it back home and it was rooted, the car is 12 years old could of just been wear and tear
Maybe it wasn't done up properly and had some movement. Thats the only real way to root the thread.
acturlly there are many ways to root the thread. my car is a very rough ride, even that over time would do wear and tear to all the ball joints etc. anyway no reason discussing why it happened, it has, just need to deal with it and fix it.
i'd do the other side aswell man
well yeah there is a point to discuss is so it doesn't happen again. lol
My car's 12 years old, has stiff sussy (stiffer then yours) so it'd be good to sus out whats goin on.
haha come around and feel how stiff mine is, i doubt urs is stiffer. but everyone i have talked to about it had told me it would of just been wear and tear, bad chamber, shit like that, this car with the previous owner has no coils in it at one stage, i bet that would of gave them a hammering (i found this out after i bought the car ha he posted it on a forum). Like i said theres so many things that could of been the cuase of it. cars def getting a wheel allightment after its back on the road
K-sport coilovers 11kgmm front 7kgmm rear with stiff damper in a car that weighs under 950 kgs....
