Has anyone looked at them or is anyone close who would be able to check them out? :)
Does anyone here know, AP1 late 05 model - early 06's with AP2 trim from factory? aka headlights tail lights trim and rims?
What you mean? 04-08 ap2 all look the same with varying rims
http://www.carsales.com.au/private/d.../?Cr=1&sdmvc=1
This is wut I mean.
Confusion.
Now I'm confused
Amant used confusion ray.
Amants attack was successful.
S2K thread is confused
there all ap1 chasis code, but received a facelift of the exterior from 04, then 06 they changed the engine to dbw and the seats and rims (ap2v1,v2,v3) etc
Giraffe used All cure.
S2k thread has recovered from Confusion.
99-01 is AP1
02-03 is AP1.5
- tweeters
- leather centre console
- glass window
- leather look on cup holder
- CD stacker moved into secret compartment as opposed to boot
^ yeah hes got it right, 05 ap2 is a v1
Someone snap this uphttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/05/15/ehy8yjyj.jpg
tempting... but too many kms for me... still waiting for a low km yellow or white one to come out of hiding...
I have a mint, totally stock 2001 yellow/black 43000 kilometer one.
You would have to be rich to get it off me.
Good job sir, golden medal for you!!
lolol
Pfft, everybody wants a handout.
I bought the car just over 3 years ago, with 27.780 on the clock. It had been a 12 month effort to find the car I wanted.
I'm averaging 5000 a year, which is a bit higher than planned. It is hard not to reach for the S keys, when ever I am not going near supermarket parking lots. My TR7 was off the road for 3 months getting air conditioning fitted & another 4 months getting a bare metal paint job. It is now back to taking some of the load.
I have a Ford Capri, [Oz type 2+2] for parking lots etc., to help keep the S as it should be.
how much is a 02 model s2k with 220XXXkm is worth?
has service history clean inside and out and no damage
If the body and interior is in good shape, i would part easily just under 15k for that. If rough all around ... 8k?? 9k?? Which is a very good resale value.
Few months ago, Car Auction in Villawood were selling a 208,000KM for 8K. The 2nd day they increased to 13k Lol. She was rough all around.
hey,
anyone know this s2k?
http://www.carsales.com.au/private/d.../?Cr=4&sdmvc=1
by looking at the pictures and description whether there is anything wrong with it?
I live all the way in melbourne and if you guys could give me any info regarding this s2k would be great since its located in NSW
thanks :)
Been for sale for ages.
yeah I noticed it has been up there for quite some time which makes me think something is wrong with it. I won't know unless I inspect it myself but its in all the way in NSW. Theres another white s2000 on car sales and I found out the history of it through friends and although it looks mint now I know why it doesnt sell..
Hopefully someone on here knows something about this one will be very helpful
yeah not sure either. This guy lives a couple of suburbs away from that jessie guy.

Nope, intake manifold is on the correct side. That picture is of a LHD car.
99.9% sure thats not his engine bay
Messaged asking why his car was a LHD
No reply :(
doesn't sound too good ;o
he is a member on s2ki. A friend of mine is having a look at it this weekend.
Any word from him?
http://www.carsales.com.au/private/d.../?Cr=1&sdmvc=1
anyone checked out this car yet?
Everything checked out with the car. Its a RHD motor with matching engine and vin numbers. My mate offered him $23.5k but the guy didnt accept.
Whats, with the tan interior was it factory. What a feral colour combo
I expect there's no engine in there. Just two german guys taking a sauna.

omg lol
^ the blue one looks the goods
dam, he turned down 23.5k :/
what do you guys reckon about these two, i'd like to know your thoughts as i'l looking for an s2k:
http://www.carsales.com.au/private/d.../?Cr=4&sdmvc=1
http://www.carsales.com.au/private/d.../?Cr=5&sdmvc=1
My ones got 75, 000km and its an 03. No chance id take less than $25k for it. Dont be suprised in the price variance between cars. Its always been known that the ones that have been better cared for tend to fetch more.
Then again, any car is only worth what someone is willing to pay.
ye i know, its just a shame because i was going to offer him 23.5k too lol. But i guess ill just slowly wait for the 'one'.
Worst you can do is go inspect it and make an offer. You never know if you dont try.
u offered 23.5k for the one with the AP2 facelift?
think he meant that blue one with the tan trim
Agreed on sale of my s2k couple of days ago, then finance fell through :/ hard work selling a car!
you have it up for like 35k tho, finance is gonna look and say redbook value is only like 18k, so if this person fails to pay and they sell the car for 18k they are still short a big hunk.
i would just say keep it get some real use from it, then sell it a lil cheaper.
Not if you get a personal loan, you don't have to advise what you are buying it for.
anyone know what torell paid for his originally?
how much did you agree on? Maybe someone else lurking will buy it for that price.
he negotiated so yeah a lil cheaper than advertised. babys gonna come along in the next few weeks most likely, so if i must ill take it down for a while and relist at later date.
Yeh personal loan would be the way to go, or cash. renzokukenj smart.
^^ i wont be getting as much for the car as i paid for it.
I bought my 01 with 65000kms for 23 completely stock so 03 with 75000 kms should realistically be around the same price
suits me well, when looking to buy everyone wishes they were cheaper but when you own one and see others sell at like 16,000$ you see that they are devaluing everyone elses car.
these cars a rare they should be aloud to fetch into the 25grand mark if its decent, more if its good. AP2 more than that obviously
The way i see it, no one in their right minds would offer me what my car is worth (to me). The enjoyment I get from it is priceless and I'm at a point in life where I don't 'need' an extra 20k or whatever.
It sits in my garage and takes me out on the occasional spirited drive and gives me a grin no amount of money could replace.
I disagree.
Part of my enjoyment is knowing I put it together.
An R35 comes preassembled. Where's the fun in that?
you didnt put it together. you just installed some parts on it.
hehe
cross threaded or torqued, tight still tight.
built or bought, fun still fun
yeah nah
wat
heart warming moment ruined...
but i really love driving my S a very raw experience, if i drive a ute all day and jump into it i feel ontop of the world, but a lot closer to the floor
Haha Baby Face is onto something
On one end of the spectrum there 'bolt on parts'. On the other there is 'put it together'.
I have rebuilt the engine and diff, added a supercharger then a turbo, replaced and tuned the ECU. Engine is running aftermarket MAP, injectors, FPR, throttle body and other parts too numerous to mention. Only part of the drivetrain untouched is the gearbox and I am building up a spare.
I'll leave it up to others to decide where I sit on the spectrum but I feel it's a tad towards the latter.
