Yeh we've got a very small 3mm scratch on the leather seats along one of the inner edges when we picked up ours.........obviously not a issue worth being anal about so we've lived with it.
This is our second sports and in both cars there have 1 or 2 dirt marks on the driver door panel. Must be when they drive the car on and off the docks or something.......
Sure u can, even just get the grille, u already can feel the different about ur car~
mugen grille cost too much. Looking to find replicas but having no luck

Welcome to the community
hey yea i jus bought a new vti 2007 auto model, mats, tint, parkin sensors for 25.3k at scotts atarmon
how come you people are getting your cars so quickly.. i've been almost waiting 4 months for mine to arrive :(
the dealer said another 2 more weeks and it's here
did you get manual sthum? - i got mine after close to 6 months or waiting lol.
what dealer from perth did you get yours from?
i got mine from prestige (manager there is an asshole)
Giday,
I think I got things the right way round. I signed up for OzHonda and then bought my first Honda. Bought a bog standard Civic Vti tricked out with front mats and roof-racks. The price was great at $23,500 including rego, stamp duty, dealer delivery.
My favourite features on this car (prior to getting it home), the stereo aux plug for mp3 and the awesome vtec engine. It's a brainiac, with the ecu taking in throttle position, rpm, gear selected, exhaust sampling, and feeding this to spark advance and the funky cam!
Bang-for-buck, this car is the business.
damn u man,, nice rims,, sob*sob*:p
Damn ... I'm so jealous, mine is delayed again till mid Feb. It's been 3 months of waiting. :thumbdwn: :thumbdwn: :thumbdwn:
yeah tell me about that. but ahh well, least you get yours soon lol.
^ glad you enjoy the car lols
i only found this out yesterday when i was using the windscreen "sprayers", but you can keep your windows down and not get wet due to the way the windscreen is placed. lol every time i drive mums car i gotta put them up or get sprayed in the face :(
ya, it is standard for all of 07 spt civic now
I went there to ask for a quote, the price they offered was around 25.5k but without any option (talking about the same car here; auto gear). Before that I went to Hornsby Honda where I was offered 26.5k without option (the salesman who offered me this quote didn't seem he wanted to sell me a car).
To cut long story short, eventually I got my car from Hornsby Honda (yes, the same shop I mentioned) through betterdeal.com.au, and the final price was 24.5k (which is $200 cheaper than the starting price) with tinted windows, bonnet protector, mud flap, weather shield & exhaust pipe finisher.
The new civic sport is a great car but due to personal reasons, i have to let it go after 7 fantastic months.
I have a brand new set of highly rated Progress Springs from the states if anyone is interested. They will fit for all ranges of the new civic. Not putting them into the civic anymore since i'm selling the car. Cant post it up for sale as well because I have yet to accumulated enough 'post points'. PM me if interested.
i just got a sparkle gray 2007 VTI auto $26000 drive away with tint, 5yr warranty and matts. i thought it was good???
YAY.. i finally picked up my car today :) YAYAYAYAYA!!!
waited almost 4 months for it, i was having withdrawls.
Enjoy your ride.
Just did my first service today.
ok...front passenger window sometimes freezes when i get near the top...anyone else have this problem? 06 civic
excuse my ignorance, but what are the new features of the 2007 civic compared to the 2006 model?
From what I've read in some threads are:
AUX input
and 17inch Civic Ep3 TypeR lookalike rims for the sport.
Are there any other features? particularly the vti, vti-L models
edit: and from further reading its just boot liner?
they may have fix minor niggle for '07.
no rattles on mine
For the 2007 Sport, every exterior colour now comes with grey interior colour
Well, after reading all the reviews both here and the US sites and confirming that it was probably the best buy in this range of car, I went and ordered a VTi auto in sparkle grey. I filled out an inquiry on discountnewcars and faithfully the local dealer in NSW contacted me with the price. Needless to say he started with the 26500 rrp and I reminded him as to what was the point of being referred by another website which offered discounts. After several minutes of discussion, the phone price came down to 26000 and that was it. A week later I went to the dealer to start settlement negotiations. After an hour of haggling with the sales guy and the sales manager, I managed to get a genuine set of carpet mats & premium plates included for the price of 25500. Stock of the autos is very limited and dealers are selling what they get in several days but you take the colour that is available unless you are prepared to wait. Orders are up to the end of April. You can get a great deal on the manual accross the range and you will certainly get a better deal than me. I will be getting the new one next week. I don't know but certainly but I believe that rego, s/duty is cheaper in VIC & QLD so you guys from should be getting better prices on road that us in NSW.
Hey I got quoted $34,574 for 2007 Civic Sport bluish silver, March delivery.
Is that a good price?
why anyone would pay the extra for a Sport v's the VTI is beyond me. if i had $35K, the Euro is the winner.
Sport v. VTi
K20 v. R18
leather v. cloth
6 airbags v 2 aibags
17" EP3 CTR rims v. 15" steelies
6stacker v. single disc
etc etc......
thats why ud buy against a VTi. with a euro depends on wat u want i guess. styling, features bla bla bla
its up to individual taste and preferences i guess.
Either way, the civic has come a long way since its old conventional styling. IMO, the 8th Gen civic will set a new benchmark for future honda cars to come in terms of styling and features.
33k for a sport auto is good!
But gerards is an 07 model
Ahhh.... better ask him on how he managed to do it.
Im guessing its with a trade in. They wouldnt have given a $2,500 discount
No trade in as I was looking for a second car.
Just walked in, looking for an '07 and just told the salesman to give me a bottom line figure. He asked me what would be mine and I said about 33K (thinking thats the RRP and preparing to bargain).
When he said he would accept that and even throw in the mats, I looked at the missus like WHAT THE???
and bought it. hahaha.
that is a very good price. Congrats.
Ferntree Gulley Honda
I'm quoting 26k for a Civic Vti, and 29k for a civic vti-L. How much further i can bargain for?
Which one should I get, Vti or Vti-L. I'm still a bit confused...
is that $26K drive away??
i got that but with matts, tint and 5yr waranty with roadside assist. on my VTI.
the VTI is best value for money and you get get some extras and still be cheaper than VTI-L. the Sport is a rip off!!
I've put an order for Black Civic Sport auto with following options for $35,500 drive away.
* Floor Mat, Window tint, Accenting lighting set, Bluetooth, Side step garnish, and Luggage area protection tray.
Good deal?
I just picked up my VTIL black auto last week after waited for 6weeks
The price $28400 drive away , including ; floor mat ; mud guard ; rear parking sensor ; 35% window tinting and paint protection.
I got it from Larke Hoskins Rosebery - the salesman said to me the next batch will come arround late augusts if u want to get the black color it will be arround september. My friend wanna buy black VTI but he changed his mind to corolla since long waiting time.
I got my 07 Civic VTi-L for 26,245 driveaway. Ended up being around a $2,000 discount. That was at my local dealer.
A friend of mine recently tried to buy a VTi-L auto from her local dealer in Melbourne, but found the salesman was not prepared to discount at all. The best she could do was get mats thrown in for $30,500 drive away.
When she tried to negotiate the salesman told her that "everyone is paying top dollar for these" and "forget going to another dealer, they aren't giving discounts either".
The arrogant attitude of the salesman turned her off the Civic and straight to the Mazda 3 Maxx Sports.
It is a shame that there are still salesmen around with this attitude because I would recommend my local Honda dealer to anyone. They have always looked after me, including giving me a decent discount on my VTi-L Civic.
(Unfortunately my friend lives over an hour drive from my local Honda, because I told her that she would have had more success negotiating a deal there).
Borg, what deal you got???
i finally paid for my civic vti-l MY07 yesteray, after some tedious shopping and bargaining Larke Hoskins in Homebush finally gave a deal to smile about
in Auto, Sparkling Grey
inc. floor mats, tints, mud flaps, pain/rust/fabric protection, rear sensors (would of taken the fog lights too, but yeh, still would have been under 30k but no use for foggies )
all for $29,500
the second best deal i got was 31, 800
and before that, i was considering a jazz vtil with all i listed above AND leather interior for 28k. Hence the reason why the civic was given the nod.
anyhow, larke hoskins was great, no fuss, but rather a few countless conversations with sales guy and sales manager, but didn't take all tah tlong to get to that price.
so yes, i reccoment Larke Hoskins in Homebush.
Nice Mr Ree!!! Grats on your purchase ^_^
