Im also thinking of putting on subs as I regretted changing my rear speaker to a 6.5 3 way Sonys. The bass just disappeared.

They are 16" and im getting 205/45 tyres
I still prefer a 16" wheel over 17"+,

anyone know if there is any cheaper shock absorbers for the Honda Civic 2007 so one could put 19s or 20s on and not have a harsh crappy ride? Coilivers of 2 grand or so seem waaaay too expensive.

Its begging for springs but im not sure if i want a low car again..

Yeah, the mugen lip kit already 'lowers' the car enough... i have to be pretty careful as well.
Yeah 16" don't do a very good job do they... I was gonna go for 17"... but I might consider 18" now.
leave the car as it is as it looks good. When youre driving it will lower abit and will look perfect. Try gaining some weight and will look more lower. LOL!
Seriously, if you lower it you will lose the ride comfort and you will regret it. :)
wow you have done a GREAT job at making a car look like it has remote control car wheels. the yellow stripe does NOTHING for black on black. Looks like motorbike wheels (actually even they are 17's) Oh well live and learn i suppose.

even you put 20" rims, still WON"T fill the gap. with 17" u get 45 profile, 18 get 40, 20 get 30. overall diameter always exactly same as stock (15 with 65).that's why the gap stay the same.only lowered is the answer.Quote:

lol. I debadged everything today. Only left the H. May decide to go for red H later. Too much chrome after installing my new muffler. Looks nice and clean now.

I need rims bad :( ... have the full mugen kit... but with hub caps .. makes me want to cry. I need someone to knife my tyres so I can justify getting bigger rims sooner. Having said that, NO i don't want my tyres actually slashed. I paid good money for them :P

I am very pleased with how it sits though.
Handling has improved and the ride is firmer; as you'd expect

Front lip is my only main concern really,
just have to get back into the old habit of doing the angles over certain driveways
The problem with the MUGEN front lip are the two "shark fin" looking bits poking out under it, these things hit everything in thier path.
though, as they do that they are getting shorter and shorter,
so the problem may just fix itself lol
say goodbye to your front lip.
What aftermarket wheelnuts do you guys recommend? I need something with a locknut as well and leaning towards black or gunmetal colour.

I measured it up to assure myself this isnt the case, its dead straight, the door moulding below is on angle...

Since we are in the topic of badges. I've thought of a cheaper way to get an instant JDM look which might cost less than 10 bucks.
My plan is to go to a sign shop and buy a small amount of Red vinyl sticker, an A3 size would be suffiecient and putting it in between the "H" badges for that instant JDM look. Even a carbon fibre vinyl would look good as well. The rear badge is the easies to do as you only have to take off the badge and cut the Red vinyl sticker to size and put the badge back on.
The front, you need to take out the badge as well, but you need a tin piece of plate around 0.5mm thick cut to the same dimensions of the front badge border. You then cover it with the Red vinly sticker and place it in between the grille and the "H" badge.
Thanks for posting that pic shimian, I already debadged the trim level badge and was eventually gonna remove the civic as well. Looks good, might get around to it sooner.

... today was first handwash of my car after debadging. Damn it looks nice without the badges or stickers on the back (apart from the Honda H). After Jo_E's attempt and realising that it would take way too much effort to fix up the holes from removing the H badge, I've decided to leave mine the way it is.

Can someone confirm if the stock rear H is held by double sided tape on top and bottom section + the 2 pins? I was thinking of experimenting and painting it a different colour. Or just go for the red badge.
i was in chatswood tonight and i saw 2 fd's one had similar wheels to brescia but with a red trim and one with the same tail lights as jace and its number plate was...P0P00P or something like that lol
