y u no earth back to battery?
No need to brother all you need to is find a safe spot to put a srew or bolt and sand back some paint and bolt it to the car. using a ring terminal.
The other trick with stereo gear is to run the cables in different spots or you will get noise and problem
shorter the earth wire the better
eh, earthed mine back to the battery and all my wires are hidden and don't get any noise interference. amp is bolted to my back seat and wires put through the back of the seat, under carpet and up through the gap near glove box.
my amp is earthed behind the carpet in the boot, theres heaps of bolts there already
yeah if you get no noise, you cant complain.
the best way to run the wires are...
speaker wire together.
remote wire can go with the main power.
and rcas with them self.
the noises you can get are reving sound though your speakers or subs
they can be hell anoying.
if you enter sound comps they can pic up these noises which could cost you point
so if ya can do it. Do it
if not do ya best lol
Had to add a pic

Doesnt really fall under today.. but i bought my 97 ek4 last weekend as my first manual car..
Loving the sound of the b16 crossover.
1 Previous owner immaculate interior / exterior (Minus the expected small dings of a 15 year old car) full log book history and came with:
- Cold air intake
- Full header / catback exhaust 2.5" through (Loud as but remedied by buying a adjustable cannon silencer)
- King springs
- 17" Rims .. Which mind you are for sale as i think they are too big (oh and they scrub alot... --')
- Aftermarket Headunit / AMP / 6x9's
- Type R style grill
Plans:
- Front and rear lip (Bought and are being shipped)
- Better 16" rims
- Colour coding of mouldings / lip / grill
- Foglights
- Blacked out headlights
- Coilovers
