For the front lip, the black section below the foglights, is that painted in matte black?

That black section on the rear lip, that matte black too? I'm torn between to have it completely one colour, or have that section black.

Seems like a clean example Duffy, looking for that turbo buzz eh ? R u ready ?? lol.
what battery size do.fd1 has?....my 3yrs old bat is dying
AA Duracell, get lithium, they last longer.
You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to lolmclol again.
If anyone is keen on red fd badges -> http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Honda-Civ...#ht_500wt_1116
would anyone know where i can get fd2r rear swaybar mounting brackets from? having trouble finding some for my whiteline RSB
tmach why dont you get a suspension place to open up the bushes instead of swaping brackets and bushes ? Thats what I did when I upgrade my front bar which was 23mm to 29mm ! they should have a little pnuematic circular file grinding thingo, takes a steady hand but can be done in under 10mins.
Im having trouble finding which brake rotor are for our fd's, planing to get dba ones form supercheap, do they have sizes or anything? The squealing sound is just doing my head in
if your hearing sqeaking sounds, u need to change ur brake pads
Purchased a Mugen Lip kit and Mugen Grille from OTR, $750 delivered. Hopefully it is delivered soon! Still figuring out where to get it painted.
DIY that shit son.
Q. When did the Fn2 Civic come with LSD as standard? 09?
Hey guys, would 8.5" wide rims with an offset of +40 fit my FD2 without any scrubbing?
probably going to run into issues with the offset I reckon
also if you had read through the thread, you would know to state whether if you're running coilovers/guards rolled/low-as-fuk/camber etc
to be honest, I've seen 9" +35 without issues, the offset is just the only thing, pretty sure you'll run into problems with coilovers should you choose that path down the track, just roll your fenders and watch your fuel pump cover
Oh alright, thanks for the help!

check out that thread, read through it, it will give you a good idea on what you can and can't do
My civic is up for sale.
shi-
tarbro results didn't come through as you expected xenon?
Nah I'm very very happy with where its at. Was pondering the k24 drop but rather than drop so much more money on it I want someone else to enjoy it as it is - a streetable, economic sleeper.
I have aspired to jump back into a Forester...it was one of my favourite cars
aw man sad news!!
But u can be proud was a good build (Y)
Suddenly, a wild photo of Jamie's car appears!

not sure what the significance here is but its a red civic :-0000000
Those rear XXRs fit so nicely.
If you run 215/40 tyres, you wont scrub. I was hitting the fuel lining when i ran 9.5'' + 36.
Xeno: you gonna part out the turbo setup or sell as is?
I also got the mod bug again and decided to add some finishing touches to the front end. It should be back on by Sunday :)

hi guys, my friend is gonna get a set of Volk TE37 17x9 +15, but he doesn't know much about setting up. He has asked me to help him but I dont know either :-) Could you guy help him.
His car is a FD1, stock suspension. The things he ask me are:
1) does he need to change his suspension to coilover, or just change a spring?
2) does he need any cambet kit?
3) what tyres are for the best setting up?
Thanks all
gonna need some flat guard rolling and lots of camber. maybe camber bolts will do... and probably a 215/45 tyre will stretch enough to clear the guards. If he can't fit them in with 215, go 205 tyre but it won't be very comfortable.
areis has run 17x9 +22 te37s without too much difficulty so hopefully he can tell u exactly how much camber he ran. But i'm pretty sure his guards were rolled completely flat when he had them on - no flaring/pulling needed.
this is the reason why he is falling in love with TE37

For the rear you'll need to add camber definitely. Camber sliders / camber arms necessary.
For the front you'll need camber bolts at a minimum.
I wouldn't run that size rims and not be on coilovers. You need to run coilovers to restrict the suspension travel which will be necessary with this size wheel.
You'd need 215/40-45's otherwise you can say goodbye to your sidewalls.
For example I run 17x9 +12 up front and the wheel sits outside the guard, with camber bolts on max negative camber, and my guards completely flat and slightly pulled.
Will look the goods once they fit though.
Dude I told him exactly what specs to run and shit when he PMed me --
But yeah exactly what Duffy said except keep the side wall to 40. U don't want 45, trust me lol... Cracked a guard cause of 45.
damn.. u guys make me wanna get new rims ... must resist :zip:
Anyone selling fd1 suspension or lip kit?
So yeah, this happened. 3000k HIDS and shaved the number plate off :)
http://sphotos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/hphoto...18050346_n.jpg
Nice one
Areis I reckon go back to silver or gold grille and H logo. Will set of the wheels better
does anyone know anything about suspension kit? i have 3 kits to consider, dont know which one is the best.
1) TEIN street advance damper kit
2) J'S RACING sports suspension kit
3) BLITZ damper zz-r
If you were me, which kit would you choose?
Thanks guy
I've wanted TEIN Street Advance coilovers but Fulcrum Suspension said that they were designed for the
JDM Type R and they cannot guarantee that it will fit.
So, ask around on forums and friends if it will fit cause you wouldnt want to waste $1,500.
If you want coilovers for street why not go for BC BR, Megan or D2
shit areis looks CLEAN AS now. well done!!
btw... i need to hit up topone next week who wants to come with?
actually now that i thought about it - where would you guys recommend me get my s2k serviced at in syd? I'm 99% gonna go with top one but am open to other (closer) options!
Dam areis.. do you ever take 4 or more peeps in your car? Is it even possible?
do you want hard and bumpy? or semi comfort "street" style suspension?
if you want your shocks to piss out oil after 40000km, have a range of adjustment from 'ultra hard' to 'rock hard', and also have the left and right's with different damping rates... then go for it..
