its 20 ton.
hehe ill make an abn. ;)
RTA bushes added.
Cool man nice DIY.... So I dont really need a press I can just hammer out the RTA? Seems pretty straight forward. Thanks for the DIY
hey mocchi, does it matter which side you press the bushings out on for the front LCAs?
are they tapered or straight? so can be pushed out from either side?
are the results worth it? and how harsh is it after everything is hardened up?
well, the car isnt running yet. i think its worth it because im sure its much cheaper than paying workshop to do it.
hella cheaper maybe.
regarding stiffness, i dont think i will be able to feel it. coilover would make the car rather bumpy.
i only did it because its cheaper than paying mechanic.
rta was a bitch to hammer out, not as easy as the supporting video lols. worked out well in the end, theres stories of other ppl 'burning' the rtas out scary shiet
rta bushes are easy, when you have a custom made tool for it, press ftw
remove bolts, support load, press out bush out, press new in. Repeat for other side. Book in for wheel alignment before 12 on a saturday, easy :)
yeh i eventually got it out.
bump 4 sick thread!
