how do you check the pcv valve ?

May as well replace it. It'll be a bitch and you'll need those long needle nose pliers (straight and 90degree bend pliers)

I removed my pcv valve and it was completely filty.. On the valve and inside the pipe leading to the manifold ..
Ill let you guys know if it comes back .. Hopefully it doesn't come back
If you shake the old pcv and hear nothing its clogged/damaged
You can clean em with carby cleaner
Nah no luck guys .. Cleaned it and changed it worked for a good day and came back on the way to work -_- any more suggestions ?
Did you clean the IACV again after the PCV Change?
Yessir I did ..
I reset my ecu and its running fine .. I think it's a break through but ill try finding another ecu and changing it over
i am pretty much stumped on what it is ..
does anyone else have any suggestions on what it is?
Time for a compression check? If you're getting oily IACV after that short running, maybe you have blow-by?
