It kinda sucks to have the parkers on during the day though as the interior lights are dimmed
Mine, placed them where the foglights are supposed to be.

Connected to constant power with an override switch in the cabin, was not a DIY and got my mechanic to do it.
Hey everyone,
I know there are haters but I like the DRLs on cars... as long as they are the good ones!
I just finished installing them on my FD Sport so I thought I would share.
They are the Philips 8 LED kit that comes with the control module and all the bits. I would have liked them where the fog lights are but there was no room left. Pretty happy with the results though. Install was technically quite simple but made more difficult by the limited access in the engine bay. About 2 hrs total, and i have never done this stuff before.

any links on where you got the kit from?
I got it from Autobarn cause I'm too impatient to wait for ebay. You can get them on ebay for about $239 for the 8LED model... obviously the retail shops are quite a bit more but I like to support them where I can.
You can see the different kits here http://www.invisionsales.com/lighting/philips/drl
Love it, good to see someone else is doing this too
This is the picture of my DC5S with DRL.

Do you have a strip above the DRL's or is that just reflection?
ok, so I bought and installed a relay. This connects straight to the battery and automatically runs the DRL's when the engine is running, then switches them off when the engine if off. Works perfectly.
Here are the pics. I love them.
