havent been on re001s but t1rs are nice and quiet.
i wanna get toyo r1r's next lol...
RE001 wins hands down.
Based on which tests or opinions?
Just asking as I would like to know about to purchase a set of 205/45/16 RE001's soon. I rank steering response and road feel/feedback high ;).
ONE GREAT FEATURE of the RE001's is their shoulder pattern/angle and design...it compensates for negative camber and reduces wear ;)
If you can afford it drop the RE001's/T1R's and go with the Yoko S-Drives... ;) Stiff Sidewall, very responsive and good grip expessially when you consider their excellent wear rating.
ado7 vs reoo1 ?
i was of the opinion the T1rs were better from what i have seen from a mate's car.
I have the RE001, but that was only cos i was able to get them cheaper.
Don't get me wrong its still a great tyre. I'd like to try the same profile with the T1rs to compare also.
From what alot of feedback from people i know the T1rs is only just ahead, but not as good in wet. Again the margins are so slight.
If you can get the T1rs that cheap i'd go for them

AD-07 are comparable to Bridgestone RE-01R which is one step higher on the BS range. That and almost a $100-200 more, per tyre.
UTQG (very rough tyre wear guide): T1-R 280, RE001 200, RE-01R 140.
nick.
hmm my re001 are only ok in wet. Maybe i shouldn't push it too hard?
In dry i only get wheel spin in 1st & 2nd but only little bits in the vtec area.
In wet is seems to loose it if i put my foot over 1/2 throttle
