I don't know as this is 1st.car i've owned with HIDs.Take it to Honda service or auto electrician and ask them to check it out/diagnose the problem,doesn't mean you have to get them to do it,once you know what needs to be replaced you can then get them to fix it or DIY.Quote:

Ballast/ignitor is basically what powers your hid bulb, which requires high voltage. If you follow the wires coming from the light bulb it will lead to the ballast, smallish metal box.
Anyways probably easiest to bring it to service like you said :)
Update: took this to the dealer and they said that the part of my headlight inside that holds the globes etc was broken and the bulb had jolted out, put it back in, cost $30 - mind you it could shake loose again and if I want to fix it a new headlight apparently costs $700+

Lol I can appreciate the cost effectiveness of your suggestion but with an OEM system I would only ever buy OSRAM/Phillips as replacements...Quote:

If you need globes drop by your local Bursons/Autobarn/Repco they stock HID replacement bulbs (even Phillips, yes exactly the same as OEM) for a MUCH cheaper price usually... Last I heard they were $60-80 a bulb... I think that may be trade prices though...
