I get the same thing with my door.
There are no door trims or central locking.
I guess i need to tighten up my window? :p
Sounds all too familiar.Big companies only care about big profits at the end of the day. It's just bullsh*t,you have to fight and argue until your blue in the face for them to consider fixing it.
It's like anything though, humans make mistakes, unfortunately you got one of em'...
I would much rather your problem to my problem of hunting down a surging/hesitation problem that took me AGES to find! But I tell ya,I know my engine REAL well now :p
I still can't get the idle right.I feel it's fine now, just needs someone with a bit more knowledge to set it (I hope).
It was a few things. The main thing problem I think was the IACV but the was cause I messed with it a bit too trying to fix it by re-tensioning the spring in there.
The first problem was the stupid resistor I had in the IAT sensor. It was in there for 2 years, the 1st year it was good but then it corroded and caused it to run too lean.As you know honda's run lean from the factory, the resistor tricks the ECU into thinking the inatke air tempreture is 2 degress lower than it is,therefore the ECU compensates by adding more fuel, then is went bad and added more again!
The second was the Map sensor and Tps sensor.I found how you can collaborate the voltages and did that.Much better!
The plugs and leads are fine.I changed the Valve cover gasket and spark plugs gaskets too on the valve cover.
So just the idle needs setting,it's too low,500-600.I've tried the meathod of taking the IACV sensor off, turning the idle screw until best then putting it back on.No workie...
Nah I just re-connected the IAT (finially),like it should be.I lost the male prt that goes in the intake when I changed to my custom intake.
I edited my post.It was the damn 02 sensor. How's that,I got so confused with all the problems,I forgot what was the REAL problem!
The X Man, I definitely have the same speaker problems as you. When it initially happened I thought it was just the stuff I had in my side pockets. One day it got too irritating so I took everything out of my side pocket only to realise it WAS the speakers. It’s a distorted rattling right? My temporary work around was to just set the fader to R4, so the majority of the sound goes to the rear speakers.
Will have it looked at, at my next service I guess.
maybe its just the plastic clips needs replacing ?
Any warranty issues you take to the dealer they are meant to sort out. Once warranty runs out if the issue still hasn't been fixed they are not meant to charge you to have it fixed. As someone who used to work in the industry I have seen all too many cases where the service advisors just keep putting it off hoping the customer will just go away. People usually ended up just bringing their cars into the centre I was based at. Take it to another Service department.
