s2000 is a chicks car
to add to that if hes looking at a z3 i doubt he has the money for a new 135i
$100K for a 1 series? oh the lulz.
It doesn't help BMW's just look like shit these days.
$100k for 1 series..... if u can pay 100K might as well pay extra 15k for a 335i twin turbo...
the actual price people are paying < $80K driveaway for the 135i with sunroof
with the Professional Sat Nav is 83k driveaway
Still way overpriced in ones humble opinion. I remember the days a new M3 cost $130K, and a 3 series set you back in the $50K range.... Now they charge $80K just for a 1 series....?
superchargers give power from the lower rev ranges as they are belt driven, and spinning the turbine even whilst on idle, where as turbo's are driven from exhaust gases to spin the turbines white results in their effective power range in the top rev ranges.
therefore a SC will give you low down torque because power range starts from almost 1k
i may be wrong, but please correct me if i am.
capa performance i think have a supercharger kit ready for the s2k and vortech is quite popular aswell..... try and find out how much boost you want to run as this will determine what engine internals and tuning you may have to alter. i think aftermarket ecu would be a must for this project.

roots type S/c yes....
However, none are readily available on the market for S2000's.
Most are centrifugal blowers..... more revs -> more boost.
