but $$$$

just get a panel filter like k&n and remove your resonator box in the fender
maybe run a col air feed too
dont need to get a exhaust all u will hear is a farty drony crap noise
u will hear your vtec if u do that mod

i had a d16y1 a while back, and all i did was put a intake on, and it becomes quite loud, as in people down the street could now hear it, and this was before ehxuast. lol, but eventually you will want a quite car, not worth the attention anyway

lol i doubt it was a d16y1, correct me if im wrong but arnt the SOHC vtec motors in an eg a d16y8?

back on topic exhaust has NOTHING to do it with, how agressive ur crossover relies on what intake ur useing, if u have a j's racing style intake (aka whales penis) your cross over to vtec will be alot if not definatly noticable

my 95 eg had a d16y1 from factory. but the motors are identical anyway
