We use Castrol Syntrax is all our LSd box's.
I agree with Tai :), AMSOIL wins all independent tests against all other oils, totally hard to beat:cool: Check it out here - www.amsoil.com :thumbsup:
endless have a lsd oil in same weight as oem too

Elf also does a 75w80 gear oil which is the same viscosity as Honda MTF.
Drove a fren's Ek with S4C box+wavetrac LSD ( ie torsen type no need friction modifier for lsd plates ) with new Amsoil synchromesh trans fluid.
Very slick gear changes, reminds me a lot of Redline MTF feel which is also a thin oil.
He bought from local amsoil agent in Perth, about $22 per quart which is really good value for something true syn and stable up to 300F.
