[Euro] Has anyone purchased camber kits?

Forgive my ignorance, but what does this camber kit do, and is it necessary if I lower the car (I remember reading in this forum about lowering the car putting more stress on the camber kit, thus the requirement to change the camber kit).

And how do we order them?

camber kits are basically needed to keep the tyre flat on the ground. When you lower the Euro, the rear tyres are angled inwards at the top, which wears out the inside of the tyres. So camber kit brings it back to the factory settings or where you want the angle set as they are adjustable.

looking at the back of the car, when normal the wheels would look straight up and down like:
l ----- l

When lowered it would look like (exagerated of course):
/ ----- \

You can order them by ringing up places (fulcrum and K-Mac are the only places in Aust that I know of), or emailing places in USA.

I got the K-mac camber kit installed last week, fixed the camber problem ... BUT for the last week, Ive been hearing annoying squeeking noises from the rear which seem to be getting louder! going to get this checked out. Has anybody else experienced the same problem? This really sucks! thinking of changing to another kit.

How much for the k-mac's if you don't mind me asking? Is it just the rears or the front too?

Paid bout 300 for the K-mac, and only for the rears. the front cambers dont need adjusting. Im taking it back to Heasmans tomorrow to get it checked out. Hope they can fix the squeeking, else I have to change cmaber kits, bummer!!!:(

It is probably just the bushes that are squeeking. I wouldn't worry about it. They may take a little bit of time to bed in. Go and see what they say about it if you are worried. Price for them is good.

Yeah I hope thats the case, some has mentioned this to me, but its been over two weeks and the squeeks getting louder. How long do you reckon it takes them to bed in?

What camber kit are u using?

I aint got any yet. Im still waiting to see what fulcrum has to offer. Apparently k-mac just import theirs from USA. That's what I gathered from their website.

I don't need camber kit at the moment, I haven't dropped my Euro yet.
