I haven't reset my tripmeter since delivery and it has an average of 8.9L/100km. Mostly around town, 20% freeway. (Using BP ultimate)
Edit- manual and I am yet to measure consumption at the bowser!

Buddah51au - Looking for a volunteer:-
Have a 2006 Euro Luxury auto.
Have major problem with excessive fuel consumption - app14l/100km
Having problem with Honda Aust - wont accept there is a problem even though have dyno & AFR chart indicating major AFR problem.
Need a similar Euro auto to compare dyno & AFR - I'll pay. Volunteer would help me determine if my car has poor AFR & get a free dyno & AFR chart. Can you help?
my CU2 auto is around 12-13.5L/100kms never hit 14. and 80% city driving on weekdays rush hour
I haven't tried 98 RON, That would mean a 30km drive every time I need fuel instead of a Caltex station next door (Vortex 95 only sold there).
Really to me it is not a major problem, the pinging is only intermittent And hard to duplicate on a daily basis. Personally I can't see any advantage of using 98, Honda specify 95 and i am getting unbelievable economy from it...as of yesterday 8607km....629.12 liters....average = 7.31. I would like to see another CU2 Auto that can match those figures. I easily achieve 850km per tank with no sign of low fuel warning light.
I don't know where you live, but i can be certain it is several hundred kms from me. On the other hand if you want to travel to this part of the country I would be more than happy to do an economy run for you so we can see if I can get close to the figures i get from my CU2.
Thanks buddah51au - I'm in brisbane - but I've learned your euro is a cu2 - mine is a 2006 - cl9 I think - how do I tell?
