clay kit....then wax it...and use microfiber cloth.
I usually use a small amount of my mothers chrome polish on a microfibre just before i do my exhaust tips and gives it a good shine and removes slight scratches, i think the mothers polish is pretty good i use it for everything, even when my wheels have tough stains to get off, mothers seems to work perfectly.
This if off topic a bit..so im sorry :p
Mini guide for cleaning wheels:
1.something like a "meguires", "mothers" or "armour all" wheel cleaner to spray on (dont worry about brands they are all the same)
2.hose it off the wheels after 10 minutes
3. dry the rims
4. spray on a wheel protectant like this that i am currently using. Works a treat
