the SRS airbag light do come up on start, its part of the startup check process.... if it doensnt goes off after a few seconds, then you might have a problem, else its just normal.

The dealers I've seen about this have ackowledged the problem but don't know why it's happening. They have reassured me the SRS is fine but there is always a reason why something happens. Just that no one has found the answer yet.
