rainx is awesome.. if the wipers are jumping around tell her to get new ones... rainx works better on the multi-layered blades you can get from supercheap instead of the single blade.
multi-blade has like 6 a side and wipes dry even if its for a split second during heavy rain
thing is it's a brand new car, so I doubt the changing the wipers will do much. I might be wrong.
also, driving in the torrential rains of a tropical country would require the use of the wipers unfortunately, hence this conundrum.
yeah the rain in the tropics is way more hardcore than what we call showers here...
How bizarre. My wipers are stock EK wipers and Rain X is one of my favourite things in the world.. I guess it works differently with different wipers.
Anyway, if it's not working for her screen/wiper combo, two steps- she could try a bucket of hot soapy water for the screen, then after that cleaning the wiper blades with alcohol (like ethanol or similar). Or alternative to the alcohol is changing wiper blades.
no its because the rain here is piss-weak compared to what you get near the equator
ive never actually seen this rainX stuff in action. but damn it sounds promising..
its ok, but i mean if it was really that good you'd think it would be more wide-spread.
thats probably why i dont know about it lol
heres a demo video of rain X .. but the guy also failed with his window LOL http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wzyYG...eature=related
hmm rainx, how much is that, i want it now
I drive through torrential rain without using wipers. It's actually clearer the harder it rains if you have RainX. I'm talking about rain that would make the heaviest Sydney rain feel like a drizzle.
With the rain here in Sydney, it's not heavy enough to self-clear the windscreen, so you end up having to use wipers.
