quick question, would an upgrade from 4.7 to 4.9 make much noticable differece?
Try going at 100km/h on 4th gear , wat does it read on rmp?? If it is 4.785 , it would show 4.7 at revs , i mean this is wat ppl tell me , i don know how accurate it is. Just try it , i tried it on my itr and it was 4.4 so yeah , just try it out.And yr rim size does matter.Sensors are for stock 15" rims. So if yr running 16 or a7 , it would be slightly higher.

You know... fact vs. fiction...
Now that's been pointed out...
You want to turn it around into a veiled point you were actually trying to make... Ok...
My first answer was simply based on looking in AUDM DC2 Type R workshop manual were it says 4.4... Further since there was doubt raise about this...
As I know I've got an AUDM DC2 Type R final drive on the bench at the workshop,
I offered to prove or disprove myself today....
See below...

Mind you, I've only ever changed 9 or 10 DC2 Type R final drives personally...
Of that amount, some of the gearboxes were from wreckers, both here & NZ...
Add that to final drives that have simply been sold / supplied to the customer without need or mention of the 1st counter gear...
I'd say there's more than a fair chance that you're right about the 4.7 being in the AUDM DC2R... In any case, as I said, I will confirm today...
i don't think you can use the method of 4th gear at 100km'hr method cos gear ratios in the different gearboxes are different.
counting the teeth cannot be wrong
