Cheapest option is to borrow a mates/someones main relay to see if thats the issue
I am from Sydney and staying in VIC temporarily so I do not know anyone who drives a DC2 around here letting it be a friend. But thanks for the suggestion! :)

However, while I was re-assembling the car I saw this tube I was talking about. I think its the drainage tube for water running down the windscreen? I am not sure if that is it... Is it suppose to run right next to the main relay? Right now I am having a hard time trying to reconnect it so I left it dangling...
It sounds like the air pipe,it ducts the air from the vents under the wipers,down the tube into the filter then the vents.
U can clean the filter while ya there :)
