If the buzz is still there when you do a stationary rev then it may be your resonator?
Is there much clearance between your exhaust and any chassis parts.
Check the hangars, transmission mounts, engine mounts for excessive movement?

Dont over tighten the soft top bolts at the rear, as they are meant to be loose, and not firmly screwed other wise when it rains your drainage will be affected and coluld leak water into rear parcel area/boot.
yea when i got my exhaust done, they lifted it up a bit more then standard so my exhaust piping would be tucked away a bit but the noise was there before that aswell. well i think my diff has something to do with it since my left output shaft SNAPPED 2day next to my house at the roundabout whilst driving normally, out of no where my car started rattling form the rear and wen i turned at the round-about and put it bak in gear it just wen bang.. thats 2 in 2 months... 1st my right 1 and now my left . now i have to get the car towed and that fixed.
i think ill ask the mechanic to have alook at that other vibration while the car is on the hoist.

You know another solution is a loud exhaust.
did u check plastic bits behind the seats? maybe somethings loose down there
Let us know how you get on. I'm keen to have the sound removed / taken care of.
And its not a plastic sound, so its nothing like that guys.
JBird could have hit it in the head with the resonator though.
