Prepare to pay more at the pump......you would be surprised how little difference there is in economy between an 06 FD1 Auto & an 08 Euro Auto. Having owned both, & i keep a detailed spread sheet on economy, i can tell you the difference is 0.5L/100km. So that argument goes straight out the window. The biggest difference is the Civic runs fine on 91 RON, while the Euro requires 95RON, so that's around 10c per liter extra.
