Always had that annoying SQUEEL and always thought it was the clutch, but i gues its not!
Any chance there is a part number for the bearing you used from the older accord??
And when you say cheap, roughly what did you pay to get one side done?

man i got the exact same problem. The squeaking clutch (sometimes when taking off) and shaking when braking (happening more often now).
So its the driveshaft. is it dangerous if i keep driving like this? and how much did it set you back ($$)?
mine wasnt shaking when braking it was shaking when i hit 80 - 120 kph =D
Your clutch release bearing is worn, causing a screeching sound especially when taking off uphill.Quote:

the braking one i got too but i think it comes down to the standard euro having shit brakes =P mine make a slight noise when ive held them too long and they get hot and wobble and yeh thats different ive changed pads to project Mu NS i think and some DBA Slotted and it still happens im putting that down to shitty brake lines =D

I had the same issue on my old 05 euro. The problem was a hot spot on the flywheel causing vibrations when engaging the clutch. It sounded the same as a thrust bearing.Quote:
