Andrew, i think the question remains unanswered. Regardless of piping sizes and lengths etc, is the CTR muffler the same as the ITR one ?
Also how different is the EK4 muffler over the EK9 muffler ?

the cannister is diff size
the piping from the bpipe is diff length
the tip is diff length
Andrew you are missing the question again mate !
repeat: Regardless of piping sizes and lengths etc, is the CTR muffler the same as the ITR one ?

yyehyeh we wanna know are they basically the same exhaust with different length piping???
Well i'm actually getting a ITR exhaust anyway.. i thought it should have better flow properties as it is designed for the larger capacity 1.8ltr, and i got my hands on one cheap from a wrecker... ;)
the itr axel back bolt on will bolt DIRECTLY to the EM1 though... u just neeed to extend the tip...
i got no idea about ek hatchs
and besides whats so good about the ITR muffler? its only had a 2" inlet... dontknow y you would want it
Whats so good about the ITR muffler? if youve been to a few of the dyno days you would have noticed that the ITRs with stock exhaust systems seem to make the same power if not slightly more than most ITRs with aftermarket exhaust systems.Quote:

That's incorrect AFAIK.Quote:

oright oright man...so is the ITR any good on the EK4?
i mean considering the size and other factors...
also if it's possible to get the CTR mufflers.
ITR isn't going to fit on the EK4 if i recall right. You have to get it altered to fit. The ITR zorst system was a great for a stockie. Very good indeed.
CTR muffler is not the same as the ITR mufflerQuote:
