OEM is best for what your after.
I heard Calibre pads are the way to go...
i ran the ferodo racing pads DS2500 in my AP1.
on track had zero brake fade what so ever, and on the street, yes they created a bit more dust but i had very good life out of rotors.
if you are driving aggressive on street they will work nicely. only need a tad of heat to work way better than stock.
when bone cold, they are ok... doesnt take long for them to pike up.
i loved these pads and wouldn't change. u cant go wrong.
hmm i see. i think i might just stick to OEM. Is best place to get them just Honda spare parts?
Yup, or save a few bucks and buy Bendix Ultimates from Repco.
^^^ how much they go for?
Dunno, but cheaper than OEM.
bendix ultimate is a waste of time. heaps of dust & really noisy. I can get you a set of QFM pads for $80. im located in S.E suburbs so pm if you want them
bendix at autobarn is $149
i need some front pads too, what are QFM? im in SE burbs too
anyone know who make the OEM pads, and how much a set are?
Queensland Friction Material.
read this link for my original expliantion on qfm's (tho the pricing is irrelevant now. can get pricing if you pm me) http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthr...ght=brake+pads
i use them daily in customers cars at work, in my own car & all of my personal customers cars. would have to be the best OEM replacement pad on the market imo.
also the 500 degree street/track pads they have out now are really good as well and around the price of what you would pay for bendix ultimate
do you have a workshop stndrd?
or just from home?
might be interested i think.
