how can you weld it up to low? if you only use the "t" part then you can line it up with your old rad support and place it in the exact same location.
another stupid question have you adjusted your hood latch all the way down?
well as you can see its got nfn to do with the radiator support due to the whole side being lifted up.. now this is what i'd do... drop the striker down, the thing that the bonnet latches onto than it should pull the bonnet down further,, now by doing this it will pull the other side down lower... now wind the rubber up to bring that side back up...
theres one tip!! might work might not but if you were in sydney id fix it for you :)
If you do that make sure the bonnet is not making contact with the bonnet. Need to have leeway as the motor turns in the engine bay, especially when mounts aren't that good. Was your car involved in an accident or anything? Bonnet hinges perhaps?
yeah i've tried lowering the bonnet locking mech lower doesn't seem to do much and i dont think there is any rubber gromits on it atm i tried with and without it on
i'm not sure if the front end i bought has been in a previous accident but i have hit my OLD front end the (auspec front end) only replaced front reo bumper and bonnet everything else was good
sup lemm
trying align the bonnet again from the hinges? or trying to move the actual hinge?
if it doesnt work then you can try to heat it up with a heat gun from the inside of the bonnet and try to hold it down to get it nice.
yeah gonna try taking the whole hinge off and maybe try another mate's bonnet see if everything's lined up properly.. i'll be pissed of if the rad support isn't lined up but it should be fine i'll be glad if it's the cf bonnet yeah i'll give the heat gun a go i'll heat soak the fcuker
