I don't think you need to chop your precious header metal off, just butcher abit from your exhaust and bolt the cat on to the header, extend the wires for o2 sensor. If you have an expensive exhaust system, then I understand your situation :(.

I'd say it would have been aftermarket mate. Definately a sensor in the cat. Yeah I was going to just cut into the exhaust but there's no room for it since the header is a bit longer due to the test pipe. So unless I replaced my flex pipe with a cat, which I don't really wanna do, then my only other option is to put the cat near the rear of the car, possibly in place of the resonator
