Yep, you can just get HID bulbs and don't need the ballasts for the low beams though with 6000k you will lose 25% of your current light output.
Yellow is better for fogs, just keep it stock or fit in a really low yellow that can penetrate the fog easier. A HID kit isn't necessary for fog-lights so just get replacement halogen bulbs.
Unless you plan on running the fogs on 24/7?

yeah, even tho i got hids for lo hi n fog. i reckon just get halogens for fog but with 50% more light (supercheap) and halogens for high cus hids take some time to charge up

also.... what's the difference between 35W and 55W HIDs?? Anyone?
-
55w is stronger light, afgmoh i PM'ed u.
-
Nah, I've currently got phillips crystal vision in both my high beam and fog lights. I'm happy with them, but im just one of those annoying people who want to drive past you with blinding light :P
And its just that ive been told a 55W ones can fry your wirings? and overheat? I got no idea
-
Would they melt your projectors?
-
what would melt my projectors? haha
-
Wouldn't u just drive with high beams on to blind people??
-
