plus 60 pounds is actually over 27kg. And thats compared to a B18 too, not just what im guessing may be a D16Y? So it is a fair bit more weight if you think about it
well that first paragraph is what ive learned from physics, and the second is all facts, and the only reading ive done on this engine conversion is that link that Z has provided and comments from clubcivic.com and honda tech, no mags, however, ive not done it, just sharin my opinion from information that ive gathered.
thats what makes forum's so good.. everyone can express their opinion.. i haven't got a physics background, i'm just a mechanic, but i can tell you first hand after doing a H22A in a Gen2 CRX and a EG Civic that it's alot of fun to drive and handles real well..
cool, obviously I havent driven one but reading from people who have, thats what I've heard, spose it comes down to how you do it

yes.....i have read alot of people who got a EG H22A conversion but i never seen one who has done it with an EK i know EG and EK aint so much different at the engine bay but i just wanna know if anyone had actully done this so i could ask how they feel about it ir is it worth it...
and just one more question..
how much do you guys it will cost for the conversion?
only the labour and stuff..not including the engine..

Do you just have the engine, or do you have everything else like ecu etc etc
Also, I believe youll need Hseries mounts for your civic. (Someone confirm?)
god...i dont know.....i got 3 things one is the abs control thing and then there a black box it doesnt say a thing on there only numbers. and then i got the ECU i guess?
if its gonna cost me 6.5K i guess i wont do it at all....its too expensive...i might only go for the look after all...lol~

Your going to need some more parts from the prelude than just the motor.
Motor, Tranny, ECU, Rear Tranny mount, Shift Linkage, Radiator Hoses, PS Pump/bracket and maybe some other stuff.
Other parts (axles, mounts, throttle cable etc) might have to be sourced from other vehicles.
From what I can gather its a tad easier to put the h22 into a ek chassis than an eg. Seems the main prob is with the shift linkage :confused:
